SOURCE: Pole saw stopped. May be in motor as sparks were seen when it stopped. Should I try to find someone to repair or re-purchase ???

It is probably the brushes that need to be replaced. They should be easily accessible and inexpensive to replace.

My Electric saw works intermittently

Could be it's overheating. Clean out all sawdust from the vents on th e motor body, and wherever else you find sawdust. Check that you're using a sharp blade. Check all wiring connections are secure. You maay need to remove the cover behind the on off switch to check thatb all the push on connectors are pushed on tight.

Poulan 16" saw, start fine,

Usually when a small engine starts fine.. runs fine.. gets hot it's ignition related.

First you want to make sure the cooling fins are clean.. remove any covers and clean the area around the head. If those fins are clogged.. not good.

Second I would check the spark.. and the spark plug condtion.

Also for power tools that don't get used that often.. fuel sytems get gummed up.. fuel gets old.. and folks tend to use the fuel in the can they mixed two seasons ago. Make sure the fuel mix is correct.

I assume it is running fine with the choke off.. however check the choke for proper operation.

Clean or replace the air filter as well.. once all the ignition and fuel components are in good order.. only then should you begin to adjust the carb. Probably not needed.. but don't do it until you are satisfied that you have good air fuel mix and proper spark.
Best of luck

Echo pole saw ppm 210 runs 5 mn and stop

Remove clean and reinstall the spark arrestor (muffler, if it cannot exhale it cannot inhale). I think you have already tried everything else, Maybe swap plug because it is inexpensive and couild not hurt.

Poulan saw wont start has spark and fuel

Look for a pinched/bare stop-switch wire (I assume that you don't have spark now). Also, check the ignition coil core gap to the flywheel magnets (I use card stock to set the gap). Make sure the plug wire was not damaged again.

DW705 Miter saw Spark in motor Compartment

Yes spark in motor compartment is normal. You only need to worry if you see a lot of sparks flying out of the motor compartment! Most power tools will spark inside the motor compartment (particularly if carbon brushes are used).

Bevel and miter could be off... Consult your manual for how to adjust these correctly, but usually the bevel has a 0-degree setting screw or adjustment, and the miter adjustment on the saw is usually done by altering the fence position... Again check your manual for specifics on your saw.

Husqvarna chain saw starts and runs for 20 minutes then stops.

two things could be happening.......first is vapor lock......make sure you breather tube is clear and working........next is ....it could have a bad ignition coil on it.....after the coil gets hot the spark can become irratic or just not work any more.....

My Poulan 3500 chain saw will not start

My guess is that one of your fuel lines has a crack or small hole in it. Inspect these and replace if needed. let me know how it goes.

Hotpoint WMA35

Remove lower rear cover of washer, remove belt, undo 2 screws securing motor, remove motor wiring plug,, lever back motor and remove motor.

Remove carbon brushes at end of motor, and check for wear, if less than 8-10mm long, then replace them.
Clean armature with emery cloth or sandpaper before fitting new brushes, if it still does not work then the motor is probably faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
