Water coming out of overflow

Try getting a coolant tester & making sure that you coolant/water mix is right. Also make sure that you're using the right type of coolant for your vehicle. After that I would check the 2 hoses to make sure neither is plugged. If you have too much water in your mix, it could get hotter and overflow.

2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue- Radiator Flush

you may need to replace the thermostat or the water pump to solve the overheating issue.
The leak in the overflow was NOT the cause of over heating.
You do have a radiator cap. It is the one on top of the overflow.

The radiator drain petcock is on the bottom of the radiator near one of the corner edges.
(Some face engine, others face the grille)
If for some reason you still can not find it, you can always pull the lower radiator hose (make sure water/engine is cold)

once you flush/fill the system, use a 50/50 mix of water and the proper antifreeze. (older cars use green, newer use orange)

If you are unsure, just ask the guys at the auto parts place which one you need and note that they sell an orange color that can be safely used in old and new cars and it can also be mixed with any color of fluid.

After you have the system filled, start the engine and remove the fill cap.... let it run and watch for air to rise out from the opening. (Some coolant/water may overflow, but you need to watch for any air bubbles coming out)

Once you don't see any air trying to escape, put the cap on tight and you should be good to go,

Another cause for overheating is air trapped in the system.

I hope this helps.

It's usually the thermostat, I woud pressure test the cap. It may need to be flushed. Are the fans working? Is there a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze

Antifreeze keep coming out of my overflow on my 1999 alero olsd.. i chnge the water pump , radiator, thermostate , and no milky in oil,, it did nt over heat what else coud it be/

how about a bad cap, if it doesnt overheat then you may have a bad cap allowing coolant to flow into overflow when it shouldnt, the overflow is for when pressure builds to a certain amount it flows but not always and a bad cap will do this, good day.

Overheating and bubbling out of my overflow. How

Might be the heater matrix for the car heating system that is leaking in which case your carpets will be wet underneath

If the matrix is ok then I would hazard a guess that the block has cracked and gases are being forced into the cooling jacket around the block.

Fill the radiator leave the cap off, run the car stationary , watch the water , if there are lots of bubbles coming up from the radiator your head , block or gasket needs attention

Ok, Take the overflow hose out of the overflow tank and opput the end in a glass or jar of water. Start the motor and watch gfor bubbles coming out of the hose in the water.. Little tiny smokey white bubbles mean you have a combustion leak into your cooling system. Possible head gasket seapage.good luck

Coolant overflowing out of expansion tank no boil no steam

As you've stated driving around town it's fine, and everything is working well. For the symptoms, there are 2 possible causes:
1. Your cooling fans are not working.
2. Your radiator needs to be replaced.
I'm sure you can determine which it is, and I wish you luck on your repair.

My mother in laws Jeep is overheating and she had someone look at it and said the "Overflow is not mixing with the Radiator" How do I fix this problem

Have you tried removing rad cap when cool & adding coolant while engine running & heater on. let it run through 2 or 3 cycles of rad fan coming on & off before you put cap back on. As far as coolnt return not working properly, possible bad rad cap, or kink in return hose, have a look if that is the problem.
