Your filters might be plugged. if you just changed or cleand the filters and they were plugged the evaporator coil might be dirty not allowing the proper amount of air flow. The evaporator is usualy lokated right above or below the furnace in a coil case that has several screws holding the front panels on. Take a look at the filters and evaporator and make sure their clean. Also wash the out side condenser coil with a garden hose with nozzel. make sure you spray strait into the coil and not at an angle. it will bend the fins. start at the top and work your way down. hope this helps you out.

What's going on -- Vents are blowing hot air and

It sounds like the unit is stuck in the heat mode or the thermostat switch is still on heat. If the switch is in cool then you can go to the outside unit and locate the reversing valve. It may be stuck in the heat position. You can tap it with the handle of a screwdriver but only on the ends and very lightly because if you dent it the valve will be stuck for sure. If it shifts you will hear a loud hiss as the pressure equalizes. You could also try unplugging it from the circuit board. On some units it is energized in the cool mode and on others it is energized in the heat mode.

Air not cold enough to cool house

Make sure the outside fan is running. Also check the high side pressure, I assume the 70# is the low side pressure, so you can tell what the compressor is doing. If the fan and compressor are both working, make sure there is good airflow through outdoor coil and check that it is clean. Let me know what you find.

My Home Ac Unit Is Not Blowing Any Air

This sounds like the fan not turning during cool. You will have to check the fan relay for power during the cool cycle. The fan relay is run by the low voltage side, but still there is hi voltage present. When in heat the power goes thru the relay on one set of points then in cool goes thru the opposite side. You should have a digram present, and then on the main circuit board there is a code light. Check the light for blinking or (flash) read the bottom of the board for the code ( very small print)

If both fans runs (inside and outside), check if the compresor runs , if does probably the unit is low in freon and needs to be recharged after the freon leak has been fixed (remember this is a seal system and it shouldn't leak), but if the compressor doesn't work , it could be the capacitor , the pressure switch (if it's low on freon ) or the compreessor itself. But befor do anything ,if you have a digital thermostat replce the batteries.

AC unit outside turns on but no air blows through the vents

The first problem sounds like the wiring is wrong up at the heating unit not turning on the blower fan in the heater when you call for cooling. Most typical is either something has chewed the wires or the wires have been stripped b something else. The AC not cooling your house can be either it is low on freon or the system is to small for your house. Also check your filter and make sure that it is not blocked and everything is clean with the filter

Blower Turns off if ac unit comes on. No air coming through vents

This only could 1--2 things, a bad circuit board fan relay or bad thermostat. To check for bad thermostat, take off the front cover to reveal the 4-wire terminial and jump the red-wire (power)-cool,(yellow -y or blue)--- green--fan white-(heat)..........red to yellow-or y=cool. Thank-you-very-much!

You may have a low pressure or high pressure switch tripping out the board as well. You might try cleaning both the indoor (evaporator) coil and the outdoor (condensing) coil. Be sure to turn off the power source before servicing this.

Air conditioning will not turn on

Look for a leak in the system, this is because, if you have a leak there is a low pressure switch that prevents the compressor to turn on when there is low or no refrigerant pressure.
Also, perform a pressure check, this is about 68.5 psi and 70 psi with the system and compressor running.
