Problem #1. On model #DT300 the instructions under Set Time of Day # 3 does not change the day. The only place I can get the day/s to change is under the programming. What is wrong with it. I have...

Thank you for very clear question, and timer identification.
1) I don't have repair for defective timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-timers-and-manuals.html#DT300
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/DT300-series-manual.pdf

2) Choose DT300 format
#3 says to press-and-hold CLOCK button until display shows 24H or 12H
Then release CLOCK button.
Next press HOUR button to select either 12H or 24H
This lets you choose am-pm format -or- choose military-time format where 11pm is 23

3) Set current time
Press-and-hold CLOCK button throughout whole current time setting.
Do not release CLOCK button until current time settings are finished.
Next, press HOUR button, and then MINUTE button, and then DAYS button until current hour, minute and day display.
Then release CLOCK button.
If this step does not work, then timer has gone bad.
Replace with locally available Utilitec 155671 from Lowes or Westek TE06WHB from Target
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#59377

4) How to set DT300 timer program for full week of operation.
Each program requires you to set program 1 ON time and program 1 OFF time
Be careful to avoid program conflicts and overlaps so timer works as expected.

For program 1 ON time, you press PROGRAM button until 1 and ON display.
Release Program button.
Then select hour, minute and days. In this case you want all days of week, so you keep pressing DAYs button until whole week displays: Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su

Then you set program 1 OFF time, you press PROGRAM button again until 1 and OFF display.
Release Program button.
Then select hour, minute and days. In this case you want all days of week, so you keep pressing DAYs button until whole week displays: Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su

If you set ON time for all days of week, and OFF time for Tu Tuesday, then timer will not work correctly.

5) Read manual and add a comment for additional help

Need to change the time

Avaya Partner System Time Program #103 Considerations: Enter the time in 24 hour notation. In this scheme, the hours of the day are 0000 (12 midnight) to 2459 (11:59). Since each time must have four digits, use leading zeros when necessary. The time appears on system phones as A.M. or P.M., not 24 hour notation.
Programming: To change system time: Press Feature, 00, System Program, System Program, #,103 at extension 10 or 11. Enter a new time in 24 hour notation. For example, to set time to 2:15 P.M., press 1415. This time will appear on the phone as 2:15 P. Select next procedure or exit programming mode by pressing Feature, 00 or lifting and hanging up the handset.

We have a Utilitech timer and can't program to come on or off Please advise...

I bought a Utilitech 2-outlet timer #0155671 last year and have lost the instructions. I was playing around with it today, trying to program it. My screen was blank because it had sat dormant over the last year. This can be remedied by plugging the unit in to recharge the internal battery and pushing the reset button on the front.

Here'e how I programmed the unit. To set the day/time; press and hold the "clock" button then press the "day" button once to advance the arrow at the top of the digital screen to the correct day. Continue to hold the "clock" button while pressing the "hours" button to cycle to the appropriate time. The AM / PM indicator changes automatically as you cycle through the hours. Do the same thing for the "min" button to set the appropriate minute.

It appears that there are 9 different on/off times that can be set in the unit. The timer number is in the lower left corner of the digital screen. Each time one pushes the "prog" button a separate "on" time, then "off" time is selected for each of the 9 instances. Press "prog" to select the desired timer instance (either an "on" of an "off"). Press the 'Day" button to toggle through several different day settings. These are specified by arrows under different days at the top of the digital screen. Then press the "hours" button to select the appropriate hour and the "min" button to select the appropriate minute. Press "prog" again and the "off" instance for that timer setting is selected. Use the hour and min buttons to set off times. Pressing the "Prog" button again will select the next on/off timer instance for programming.

Hopefully you can follow these rudimentary, somewhat confusing instructions.

Need instructions for Ingraham model TE109

To set the timer press the right arrow key.
The timer will now be blinking 1on.
This means on time for program 1.
Press set.
The days of the week will be blinking now.
Use the arrow keys to scroll through the options, like
just one day of week, every other day ETC..
Press set when you get what you want on the days.
Now the hours will be blinking.
They start at 12:00 AM, so to go to 1:00 PM you would have to
press the arrow key 13 times.
When you get the correct hour, press set.
Now the minutes will be blinking.
Choose the minutes you want with the arrow keys and press set.
You will be back to 1on blinking.
Now press the right arrow key to go to program 1 off.
Set the off time the same way you set the on time.
After setting the off time, or any time 1off is blinking, by pressing the right arrow key you will go to 2on and so on.
You can scroll through all the programs by continuing to press the right arrow key.
Both arrow keys work i.e. you can go backwards if you went too far.
You can go to program 20 off if you press the left arrow key.
Keep pressing the left or right arrow keys to skip to the program
you want to change.
When you get to the program you want to change, press set
