White dots on screen

White dots are usually caused by a bad DLD/DMD chip. These do have a warranty normally. If it is out of warranty you can obtain a chip for between 200 and 500 depending on who you buy it from. I would call tech support and find out the chip number if you can. If not take it apart and read the number from chip. global projectors is one supplier. Infocus may have them as well. youtube has lots of repair videos. Here's mine on a mitsubishi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_uUH-xHKkU

How do I open the lamp cover on the InFocus IN2102EP (to replace the lamp)? Cheers

There is a single screw that you need to remove, which will allow the panel covering the lamp to be removed.

The screw is located on the back grille, opposite corner from the power connector. For a full diagram and instructions download the following PDF:

Why does my projector keep shutting off

The LEDs usually indicate a likely fault, for which you need to consult the manual after noting the sequence, timings and colours.
In many cases this problem is caused by overheating or a faulty lamp. It's worth checking the LEDs before purchasing a lamp as it will probably cost at least £100 which is wasted if the fault lies elsewhere.
If overheating is the problem then you could clean the filters and see if this helps.

Projector is going off to service light

if you have time before the projector shuts down, go through the menu and see if you can find and reset the lamp timer. Otherwise I've taken the bulb out and put it back in, and sometimes that resets something so you are able to use it again.

HP VP6210 won´t turn on at all

try to replace all the capacitors on the motherboard. This are the only parts that leak in time. Try otherwise to reset to counter or update the firmware on your machine on the infocus site.
Goodluck !
