Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Hi, iv`e sent my dv2000 in for the extended warranty repair. It starts for a second then nothing at all. They sent me the box,I sent it back with my dv2000,now they want to charge me for water damage! It has not been near water ever!Any ideas what i can do?It seems like a ploy to get your property and then try to swindle you!If you can help i would be greatful.
That doesn't sound like HP.
I REALLY doubt that they would say that there is water damage without any substantial evidence.
If you didn't spill water on it, maybe somebody else did.
Did you buy the laptop used or open box?
Just because water spilt on it, doesn't mean that the water caused the damage.
You can argue that point...to a certain degree.
