Model #CEDX563JQ0 Crosley Dryer won't heat and getting current

I would check to be sure you have 220v going to Dryer. Possibly timer problem as heat circuit runs through that too.

Dryer won't turn on - digital panel is on

Check the fuse. It is mounted on the right hand side of the control panel:

This fuse trips when that element gets too hot. Look for air restriction or a bad blower wheel.
Older dryer from monkeywards is like yours inside:

I have a model # CDE20P8A crosley clothes dryer that will not start. It has power to the dryer, but the interior light or motor will not work. Is there an internal fuse that I should check or replace?

Yes. It takes an LA-1053 fuse kit. Most of these dryers take way too long to dry the clothes, then the fuse blows because it over heats. The problem being the blower wheel. The fuse itself is attached to the side of the heater and is held there by a clip that is held in place by the long screw that hold the element. Unplug it and take it outside so you can sit it on a table to work on it.
To get inside release the clips

It won't do any good to replace the fuse if ya don't check the blower wheel.
They strip out and get loose on the motor shaft.

Crosley dryer will not turn on - worked fine one day and now will not work - suspect electrical switch but which one?

The thing that kills these dryers is lint and bad blower wheel. The lint causes excess heat in these dryers and that melts the blower wheel hub and it begins to slip. This makes the clothes take twice as long to dry and eventually trips the small thermal fuse mounted beside the heating element. themobilian_594.jpgthemobilian_595.jpg
