I have tried every boot sequense I could find on the internet and nothing works. How do I find the motherboard number?

have you pulled out the battery as well or hold down the power button for 10 seconds, then try it again. that did it for me just a thought toshiba told me too pull out the battery once it was going then put it back.... sorry am not an expert

Unfortunately there is no easy fix. Removing the CMOS battery does not work nor are there jumpers on the MB. The only way to get it reset is to go to an authorized Toshiba dealer or repair facility and have them do it. This is going to cost you since normally it is not covered under warranty.

Did you set the BIOS password for your notebook or was it set automatically by the computer? Anyway, to solve this problem, you may need to bring out your system to a near Toshiba ASP.
