“Yamaha RX-V473 AV Reciever how to turn on standby mode?” Download RXV473 service manual and user manual to solve this problem or phone yamaha to call for help.
Have you tried unplugging and plugging it back in? If that doesn't work, then you might have some bad capacitors in the power supply that aren't allowing it to switch to "on."
The reciever has a internal problem, It will have to be taken in to be repaired, It is that simple to figure out, They do not stay in the stand buy mode , Just for something to do,
Okay, this may a silly thought but, was there a switch or a dip switch on this replacement board you recieved. It may be in switched into the Service mode? Just a thought. Blessings, A/V Media Guy
Hi, two things.. Either your remote needs new batteries, or you need to switch off your tele and allow it to reboot for a few minutes before switching it back on, I hope this helps
I have the same problem. my sandby light is on but my receiver will not turn on! I checked my power going into the power supply board that was good. But i do not have power going to the transformer or the receptacle. And both of my fuses r good. check ur fuses and go from there . If u know how to get a power supply. please let me know.
