Temp sensor might be going bad but you can go into menu and calibrate up to 4 degrees each way

SOURCE: Pool heater leakage

Chances are that the header or manifold is cracked. usually the heat exchanger themselves are not damaged from freeze, but either the rear manifold (header) or the front header (the one that pipes go in and out of). Sometimes both. Replacing the entire heater is not necessary, about $200 in parts usually. We have a schematic diagram of the LJ heater here: http://www.poolcenter.com/parts_heaters_lite2_lj_2003-present_pg1.htm

SOURCE: 6My heater heats my pool

Hi,
The sensor is the defective one.Just pull the sensor from the pipe by loosening the stainless steel clamp that holds it in the pipe. Then follow the wire back into the Aqua link box and unplug. Get a new one at your local store and replace. It's a common problem and you should be able to do it with ease. The water temp is attached to a pipe, and held on by a hose clamp, and the air sensor should be located near the box, and looks exactly the same as the water sensor (minus the hose clamp).
When it is set to higher temperature it is not able detect the heat. For safety purpose the Jandy heater will turn on and off.
It turns off due to false temp deducted and also turns on due to same reason.

The sensor will look like this replace it

SOURCE: No dispal on Jandy LXR

Hi,

If Heater continues then the problem is with the LCD display. LCD display has to be replaced. The LCD display has flex type connection leading to it.You just remove it and place it properly. If still you cant see the Display just replace it.It will cost very less.
