I have a Briggs & Stratton 6.0ohv on a lawn mower. No owners manual. It was on a Quality Ranch and Pro mower. Do you need to mix oil with unleaded gas in the gas tank? The gas cap says gas and oil but it also has a secondary oil dip stick. thanks, greg

does the engine take oil? if it does then it is a 4 stroke and does not require mixed gas. if it doesn't have its own oil then it is a 2 stroke and requires mixed
If you mean oil for the crankcase use need 4 cycle oil Ususally 30 weight and don't over fill Most small engine do not even take a quart only about 20 oz.
If you mean to mix with gas ( I doubt this) but then you need 2 cycle oil depending on the mixture usually about 3 oz to a gallon of gas (3.2 oz / gal = 40:1 ratio, 2.5 oz/ =50:1)
I think that the engines are Briggs & Stratton and don't need any oil mixing in with the gas. Complete access to the owners manuals is at http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do?BrandCode=10451
Unfortunately I don't have your model & Serial number so can't provide you with a definitive answer but it will certainly tell you in the manual

Drain oil... it is full of gasoline due to a bad float pin and rubber gromet in your carb. When your float pin and gromet fail, gas just keeps flowing into your carburetor, eventually flooding your motor with gas and oil mix.
