Question about Heating & Cooling
If the unit is overheating, I'm assuming the compressor is getting hot. It could be drawing high amps, do to a bad capacitor, bad motor, a dirty condenser coil. It also could be low on refrigerant and not getting the proper cooling back to cool the compressor.
