My Sanyo ac outdoor is overheating and then goes off what could be the problem

If the unit is overheating, I'm assuming the compressor is getting hot. It could be drawing high amps, do to a bad capacitor, bad motor, a dirty condenser coil. It also could be low on refrigerant and not getting the proper cooling back to cool the compressor.

"Low capacity thermal lockout"#81. What this tells me is your 1st stage cooling(low capacity) is locked out for 4 he's due to a dirty outdoor coil, weak outdoor fan motor run capacitor, slow outdoor fan motor, overcharged with freon, restricted or short cycling outdoor airflow(overheating), damaged discharge temp switch, faulty outdoor circuit board. That's all the scenarios I can think of for now. Hope this helps!

After turning the AC unit on roughly 10-15mins. outdoor unit turns off head unit still on


It sound like you have problem with compressor overheated. Make sure your is clean and correct amount of freon

Probably overheating. Check the outdoor coil and see if it is stopped up with dust, grass etc. If so, disconnect power to the unit, and clean the condenser coil with water or air. Be careful not to bend the fins if you use a water sprayer.

minutes or longer: pre-trip - 5

Solution:
1. Check R/S/T power.
2. Check inverter control PCB.
3. Check outdoor unit control
PCB.

We undertake annual maintenance contract for Sanyo VRF air conditioner at standard charter bank nepal ltd., we have found the AC dose not function as well now. The fault shows as E4 on remote control. Now...


E04Indoor seeing error from outdoor. Qty of i/d units connected are less than qtyset. Check; all i/d units are ON,
reset turn off all units wait 5min power up

Make sure you air filters are clean then make sure your fans (indoor and outdoor) are running. If these are OK then you need to get your refrigerant charge checked.

Pls. check the thermostat setting. It has a setting equal to the outside temperature of -2"C. If this can still be lowered down, then I believe that it will keep your Panasonic H 16 working without interruption. You are
definitely right, your AC is working normally.

When you are watching on projector sanyo PLV-Z2 it goes off and


overheating. possible fan malfunction. clean out the projector with canned air. dust keeps in the heat.

Not sure which model you have but i would check your indoor and outdoor temperature sensors  and also it could be your overload kickin the compressor off
