OUr ASEA Cylinda dishwasher doesn't seem to have any power. The manual suggests the fuse might be blown. THe circuit breaker is fine. Is there a fuse on the machine that can be replaced?

You need to trace the power cord into the machine to confirm this case. It will lead you into the circuit and if power is not present to the controller section there can be a fuse before the circuit.
Remove power to the machine and remove panel to check.

Machine has no power, it is plugged in and the fuse has been changed, there is power to the socket,

IF there is no power going to the machine.possible fuse not properly mounted.Try to check using a tester if power is flowing to machine. From the socket, use an extension wire and check if power is flowing within the circuit if it is the problem is in the machine.Did the machine blown out?

How do I Turn it on

The power switch is on the left side of the machine near the back of the machine.

Assuming that you found the power switch, if nothing happens when you flip the power switch, chances are that you have a blown fuse.

1. First be sure that you unplug the machine!

2. Remove the "Platen" (the big black roller that the paper wraps around) there are clips on both side of the roller. NOTE Which side of te platen has the gear, this will be important when you reassemble it.

3. Turn the machine over and remove the 4 screws in the bottom.

4. Turn it over again and remove the top

5. The fuse is located in the power supply (where the power cord goes in the machine)

6. Replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Fuses can be bought at electronic supply stores (like Radio Shack) or at some hardware stores. Take the fuse with you to be sure that you get the same size physically and that it is rated the same as the old one.

7. Reassemble the machine be reversing the procedure.
