What is Ford's recomendation (mileage) for replacing the serpentine belt on a 1998 Ford Explorer?

Theres no mileage to change just to check it, the way to check the belt is to look at the inside of the belt and you will see grooves in which the belt rides, if you see cracks in the belt then its time tom replace. the belt should be looked at every oil change it thats no time to check. hope this is helpful.

Vorwerk VK121 vacuum cleaner - smell of burning from housing enclosing motor. How do I get into the housing to inspect the motor? After tilting the bag sideways, there are two screws holding the housing...

yes the handle is clipped in place and should come out when the button in front is pushed. Remove the screws you wrote about. After that the puzzle begins. At the bottom of the vacuum where the head is attached, remove the head by pressing the button. This same button now needs to be pressed all the way through while pulling on the top of the motor base. The outer shell will slide off while the motor stays attached to the part where the bag is attached. After this the entire motor is revealed and the brushes can easily be replaced. Hope this helps. Peugeot Expert Van Cambelt change

Most cam belts need to be changed every 60,000 miles. I would change again somewhere around 126,000.

When to change timing belt on 2004 honda civic

Honda reccomends timing belt change at 100k. Most Honda dealers like you to change the belt at 90,000 miles (90k). some auto repair places will want to change the belt at 60k but that is not necessary (Note: if in a severe cold or hot climate like florida or canada you would change the belt before 90k or if the belt is over 7 years old.. Good luck:
