Did you check the throttle cable linkage to the carburetor? There is a retainer for the throttle cable near the carburetor. This will sometimes come loose and even though you move the throttle lever forward it may not be moving the throttle cable at the carburetor.

Toro Model 20070 lawn mower starts and runs, just does not seam to have a lot pf power does anyone have a lack of power issue with their Toro 20070 Pace Lawn mower. Runs fine just no balls

could be dirt in the carby , blocked fuel filter or lack of adjustment in the accelerator cable
I will go for a cable adjustment as they slip under the clamp on the carby bracket when the throttle is pull wide open

My 2 stroke weed eater starts, runs full throttle for 20 seconds then bogs down. Im no mechanic. Please help!

Stuck throttle. See if you can check that the speed control is moving the thing on the end of it called a carburettor. Could also be an air leak in the thing that join the carburettor to the motor. called the inlet manifold.

If all else fails, just take it to a garden machine repair shop.

It idles but will not run at full speed

Two things to look for - exhaust blocked. or aircleaner blocked.
another thing check to see if throttle linkage is actually opening the throttle in the carburettor.

Snow thrower doesn't start up!

If you have a spark at the plug (you have checked?) it's probably fuel blockage. Check all lines, fuel filter and carburettor are clean, use a carburettor cleaner spray to get all the gum out.

My srm3800 runs but when itry to use it it seems to cut off like not geting fuel it idle go but it will cut off aftet I give it gas

Check there are no kinks in fuel line.
Make sure that the air filter isn't blocked.
Check the throttle cable is operating the throttle plate in the carburettor ok.
Ensure chain isn't too tight.
The carburettor should be a tight fit on the air inlet manifold.
It's possible that some of the jets could be blocked in the carburettor. You can try and clean these with compressed air but ensure you remove any seals gaskets, springs on the diaphragm pump , primer bulb etc as they can be damaged by the pressure.
If the the choke normally disengages when the throttle trigger is squeezed, check this is working ok.

5HP Honda (HRU215) mower hard starting power loss

Either the choke isn't operating fully or there is some dirt in the carburettor. Check the choke first by putting the throttle lever full to the start position, the see if you can still pull the inner cable further at the bottom end. If you can, then you need to undo the clamp at the engine end and pull the outer cable back a bit before reclamping it in the new position. If that isn't the case, you will need to dismantle and clean the carburettor - probably a job for your local dealer..

Starting my petrol mower

depending on age of machine set the throttle to maximum revs, and pull the starter cord but newer models have a primer button located on carburettor which is locked just under air filter (black or red colour) push it three times( you should hear it inject fuel) and then pull starter cord, some of these engines have a pre-set throttle ,main concern is that if it has not been used for some time you will need to clean carburettor out, replace diaphragm and remember to use fresh fuel(not older than 90 days) this should cure your problem
