Question about Cambridge Audio Azur 340C CD Player
All of a sudden, the CD player is not reading the discs, and is displaying "no play".. it was working fine a couple of weeks ago.
The disk drives in the 640C/740C are Sony. Most people renew the laser, but that is tricky dealing with static electricity. Try renewing the flatcable from the laser unit to the servo circuit. Cheap. If this does not work, you can always renew the laser as well. Beware. There are (Chinese) non Sony lasers on the market. Success!
