Check puppies gum in mouth make sure is pink not white, will show if anemic. Wash in warm water and dish soap a mild one and comb out eggs, wash all puppy bedding. Momma dog will need to be bathed as well. If puppies gums are white take to your vet right away. Anemia can kill your puppies, fleas **** the blood and can be fatal. SOURCE: Is 1/4 teaspoon baking soda equal to 500 milligrams of baking soda?

Good grief NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the problem with DIY conversions from volume to weight. Your ASSUMPTION gives you 400 times the dose!!!!

A quarter teaspoon is approximately 1.25 grams (1 1/4 grams)

Work in spoons and cups (measures of volume), or work in grams, or pounds and ounces (measure of weight).

How many teaspoons of baking powder equals one teaspoon of baking soda?

I'm by no means a baker, but the two are different. However, you can substitute, but you may not get what you are looking for and have to modify the recipe in other ways.

Generally, you will need 3 teaspoons of baking powder to equal a teaspoon of baking soda. But the baking soda is a base, and the baking powder is more neutral, so you may have to reduce the amount of acid in the recipe.

The following article explains it well.

Someone tried cleaning the iron with baking soda and water, how do get all the baking soda out of the iron, when I use the steam button it still has baking soda coming out. Thank

Mix some vinegar with water and pour it in, the reaction will get rid of the baking soda, then rinse with clean water. NOTE: the reaction produces carbon dioxide gas (NOT carbon monoxide which is the one that kills people!) so its safe to handle and be around, but it will also froth and bubble up so its best to do it outside or over a sink. Add only a small amount of the solution at a time and you'll see what I mean, and you'll know how to proceed if you need to add more.

Hi Ursula B,
You can put baking soda in your washer safely with no harmful effects.
Another good use in your front loader for baking soda.put 1/2 cup of vinegar in your washer soap dispenser, and 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda in the fabric softner dispenser and run a hot wash to clean and refresh your washer.

Brown residue from muratic acid fumes on stainless steel applianc

Just a thought it may not work.

Since Muratic acid caused the trouble try it to remove the stain. Then after its removed use baking soda to kill the acid and within 3 toi 4 hours re apply baking soda and re clean. Maybe do the cleaning 3 times just to be safe.

I only say this because to remove oil you use an oil based solvent. Water use a water base solvent.
So maybe ...
Then again maybe not
If this works or doesn't Id like to know.
The last thing to use is a piece of aluminum tape to cover the area so its not brown.

If this helped you please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Need directions to clean my tappan oven

1. Add baking soda to a cool oven. Sprinkle a thick layer of baking soda onto the bottom of the oven. Make sure the oven is completely cool before you attempt to do this. 2. Spray the baking soda with water. Using a spray bottle, spray the baking soda down until it is damp, not saturated. The water and baking soda together will help break down the food particles. 3. Continue spraying baking soda as it dries out. Every few hours spray the baking soda down again to keep it moist. Continue this process over several hours, spraying water as the baking soda begins to dry out. 4. Scrape out the baking soda. Scrape the baking soda out of the oven. Food residue will be scraped out with the baking soda. 5. Rinse the bottom of the oven out thoroughly. Yes, you'll still have to rinse out the oven, but next time you cook your food won't have an added taste of oven cleaner.

If I had the rest of your model number I may find what Tappan now Fridgedaire Electrolux reccomends, but this is the least toxic. Have a great day..

How clean oven??

  1. Buy an empty spray bottle and some baking soda.
You'll find that baking soda is cheap -- especially if you buy in bulk.
  2. Using a funnel, place 3 heaping teaspoons of baking soda into the spray bottle.
If the baking soda clogs the funnel, unclog it with water.
  3. Wash the baking soda into the spray bottle by running water into the funnel.
Fill the bottle with water. After the bottle fills, you'll notice undissolved baking soda that has settled at the bottom of the bottle.
  4. Shake the spray bottle so that all the baking soda dissolves in the water.
Unless all the baking soda is fully dissolved, some of it gets left behind in the bottom of the bottle as a residue.
  5. When the oven is cold, spray the baking soda and water solution on to the black stuff. Do this one or more times a day.
It is important to work on a cold oven for two reasons:
    • Safety. You can't burn your hands if the oven is cold.
    • Containment. You'll get baking soda all over the house if you start with a hot oven. I know. I've done it.
Starting with a cold oven solves the problem.
  6. Use your oven as you normally would. Keep spraying wet baking soda on to the top and sides of the interior of the oven between meals.
Wet baking soda will break up the carbon sticking to the sides of the oven. Keep spraying baking soda on to the black stuff between meals until it is all gone.
Don't worry about getting baking soda in your food. Baking soda is one of the prime ingredients of many recipes such as corn bread. It is safe to add it to your food should you do so inadvertently.
Using this technique, the black carbon that was stuck to the sides of your oven will flow to the floor of your oven and settle there as a black carbon powder that can be wiped away.
Your oven will look like a mess while this is in process. Choose a good time to do this.
  7. At your convenience, when the oven is cold, wipe your oven with a damp cloth.
Eventually, you will have to wipe down your whole oven with a damp cloth. The black carbon and baking soda will will settle together on the bottom of your oven. Both are easily removed with a damp cloth.
In theory, you will have to apply the spray bottle many times but you should only have to wipe down your oven once. Try not to wipe down the oven prematurely as this removes the active ingredient that makes the whole thing work -- the baking soda.
Important! Let the baking soda accumulate so that it can do its job.
  8. Repeat, repeat, repeat until all the black carbon is gone.
