Question about LG DLGX3471V 27" Front-Load Gas Dryer
I bought the LG DLGX3471V gas dryer. I connected the gas line, connected the plug to the electricity. The machine starts with a loud noise, the drum turns very slowly for less than a minute and than shuts off. This is the second machine with the same issue. Is it me missing something from the installation or is it the machine! Thanks

Most model dryers are supported at thge rear of the drum with a bearing configuration, but usually the front of the drum is supported by some lining pads or guides. These help hold the rotation of the drum concentric. It sounds like your drum is not spinning concentric. My guess would be that some new guides might need to be installed.
Hope this helps...

The drum rollers need to be replaced at once. Disconnect power then remove the three screws attaching the top panel bracket to the rear of the machine. Push the top panel backward then lift to remove.
Remove the two screws attaching the control panel frame to the cabinet. Disconnect the connectors then pull the control panel assembly upward and then forward to remove.
Open the door and remove the two screws from the bottom of the door opening. Remove the four screws attaching the front panel from the cabinet. Disconnect the harness of door switch then remove the front panel.
Disconnect the door lamp and electrode sensor connector. Remove the four screws attaching the front bulkhead to the cabinet then remove.
Remove the drum and the rear bulkhead for complete access of the drum rollers. Reassemble the dryer in reverse order of the disassembly steps.

Clean any lint that got by the filter as best you can. If you can, get into the housing that surrounds the filter and clean it, but be careful not to damage the moisture sensor.
Check that the duct (behind the dryer) is clear of excess lint and has no obstructions (kink, bird's nest, etc.).
