Put oil in the carbs. SU carbs correct? Those black things on the top of the carb towers unscrew. You add lightweight oil (Volvo recommends "sewing machine" oil, motor oil will do. This creates a slightly richer mixture when starting out, thus smoother low end acceleration. Invention of Sir Henry Royce himself.

No adjustment for carb on newer mowers. All mowers now have a low oil cutoff. Ensure oil is full. 30w oil. If any grey is observed vin oil drain all oil. Moisture in oil. Dump old oil out every 2 yrs and refill. Ensure spark pluf is clean and gapped correctly. Ensure air filter is clean. Replace spark plug and air filter each year. Always use Stabile in gas. Breather tube throwing oil into carb

Oil coming via the engine breather can mean a worn engine, it could be as simple as an over filled sump, or the breather valve itself is not working, the breather valve allows the crankcase pressure out of the engine.

Your oil breather (on the side of the engine opposite the carb) may be malfunctioning/defective allowing the carb to **** oil from it. There is a breather tube that crosses over the top of the cylinder connecting the crankcase( oil) breather to the air filter housing. Check the oil level and the condition of the air filter and esp. the oil breather. It serves the same function as a PCV on a car engine.

No. Pull the pcv lines apart and remove any restrictions or garbage that might be in them. The end of the line that goes toward the back of the motor MUST BE VENTED TO ATMOSPHERE - you should be able to blow through it without any restriction.

Started my 03 blast and looked like oil and gas leaking from carb help please

no, The reason being your having some oil in your intake and carb is 1 of 2 reasons, Your Manifold Carb Coupler (Rubber Boot) is loose and your getting to much air in so its sucking it from the cylinder, thats where your getting some oil, and its probably back firing, the other reason is make sure ALL your rubber hoses and fittings are SECURLY FASTENED, if any of them are just a little loose, that will cause your carb vac to grab some oil from the cylinder too! Hope this helps!

Gas in the oil

????
what engine are you talking about ?
sounds like the floats are stuck in the carb and have flooded the engine, strip and clean the carb (s) out, change the oil and then try to restart bike.

Craftsman Weedeater won't start

You are definitely on the right track. There is only one thing that could be wrong as long as you replaced the needle valve, screen, gasket, & diaphragm. When cleaning the carb., you need to clean the small portals incarb. with a Den Tek Brush, (used for cleaning between teeth), they work great for this job. These portals, if blocked slightly, can cause this problem.
