There should be a full throttle mark on the injector pump,alaign the marks.

Installing
Note: Install a new pump-injector unit, also replace the corresponding adjustment bolt in rocker arm.
For every procedure that requires adjustment of the pump-injector unit, the adjustment screw in the rocker lever and the ball pin of the pump-injector unit must be replaced.
New Pump-Injector Units are shipped with O-rings and heat protection seal.
Install the pump-injector unit again, replace the O-rings and the heat protection seal Pump Injector Unit O-Rings, Removing and Installing .
Before installing Pump-Injector Unit, check that the three O-rings, heat protection seal and securing ring are seated properly.
Note:
O-rings must not be twisted on themselves.
Oil O-rings and insert Pump-Injector Unit with great care into cylinder head seat.
Using uniform pressure, push the pump-injector unit into the cylinder head seat onto the stop.
Insert tension block into lateral slot of Pump-Injector Unit.
Note:
If Pump-Injector Unit does not stand at right angle to tension block, securing bolt can loosen and thereby cause damage to Pump-Injector Unit / cylinder head.
Align Pump-Injector Unit as follows.
Screw the new bolt into the tension block so far that the pump-injector unit can still be lightly turned.
Now align Pump-Injector Unit at right angle to thrust bearing of camshaft.
Using a caliper gauge (measuring range minimum 400 mm), check dimension "a" from the outer edge of the cylinder head to the round surface of the pump injector unit.

4 65.6 0.8 mm
Re-align Pump-Injector Unit if necessary and tighten securing bolt as follows:
Tighten the securing bolts to 12 Nm and turn an additional 270 degree ( 3 / 4 rotation, additional rotation may occur in several stages).
Install rocker arm axle and tighten new securing bolts as follows:
First hand-tighten the inner bolts - 2 - , then the outer bolts - 1 - equally; then tighten in the same sequence to 20 Nm and 90 degree ( 1 / 4 turn).
Place a dial gauge as shown onto the adjustment screw of the pump-injector unit.
Rotate crankshaft in direction of engine rotation until rocker arm roller stands at camshaft point. Roller side - arrow A - is positioned at the highest point, dial gauge - arrow B - is positioned at the lowest point
Remove the dial gauge.
Now turn adjustment bolt into rocker arm until significant resistance is noticeable (Pump-Injector element stands at stop).
Turn back adjustment bolt from stop approximately 180 degree
Hold adjustment bolt in this position and tighten lock nut to 30 Nm.

Low Idle drops oil pressure


Raising the idle would only put undue wear on the transmission shortening it's life. If pressure is low, you may need to replace a worn oil pump. Or depending on the mileage and maintenance, you may need to rebuild the engine. I am driving a 97 5.2l with full tow package with 216,000 miles on it, and I service it faithfully. It still does't smoke or use oil. The pressure does drop to about 20 when idling ( On the dash gauge, who knows how accurate it is ) then goes up to 40 when accelerated to start out. Sounds to me that your problem may be oil pump. FYI if you have very bad gas mileage, I have found a trick that will increase it. replace the stock fuel injectors with 5 hole pontiff injectors from early 90's neons. They are a perfect fit & increased my mileage 25% +. Good luck

I CHANGED MY OIL ON A 2008 WRX AND HAD FUEL IN THE OIL ,WHY? IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS EXCESSIVE TO ME BUT NOT SURE ,NEVER OWNED A TURBO BEFORE.CHANGED THE OIL AT 5000 AND THE CAR HAS 46000 MILES


just to be safe get it to a subaru dealer and get it checked on the diagnostics computer,if too much fuel is going in they can adjust it for max power/economy.depending on what YOU want.(the ignition map is adjustable,but only by subaru)also this engine demands an oil/filter change at 5k intervals,using full synthetic oil.(subaru use 10/40,in Europe/Japan)

How to adjust the fuel injection pump on a 04 F-250 6.0 diesel?


Umm wow where to start for starters there is no injector pump on a 6.0 its not a "common rail" design however it does have a hpop "high pressure oil pump" ok lets start at the tank there is fuel pump 110 to 140 psi now depending on weather you have a long bed or short bed changes a lot of things short bed single fuel tank the pump is mounted on the frame under the back of the driver ....dual tanks there in the tanks. the fuel goes up to the filter bowl/heater and is then fed to the injectors the fuel flows into the injector pushing the piston up in the cup and filling the injector with fuel when the IDM " Injector driver module" fires that injector a peizo valve opens and high pressure oil from the hpop "2200 to 4200 psi" drives the piston in the injector cup forceing the fuel out into a cylinder on its compression stroke and bang we get combustion so yeah I guess the point I was making is there is no injector pump ? but please post your issue and id love to help as I am pretty good at deisels :)

How do i turn up the idle on a 99 dodge intrepid it idles at 700 rpm and its causing low oil pressure! I just had it rebuilt 6 monthes ago.I replaced the oil pump yesterday and having the same problem.


Have you tried replacing the sensor? if it's not a mechanical gage it may be the sending unit. Now 700 RPM's is 50 RPMS above what a stick **** would run but about right for a automatic. There is an adjust for it but it is to be done by a licenced mechanic or you can get in trouble for smog licence. There is a plug on the side of the throttle plate that has to be removed before you can adjust the screw. If you just had it rebuilt I would take it back to the shop and have them fix it under warranty you should have at least a 6 month warranty on it.

Hello,the injection pump is not working well,it must be check.probably it is not giving enough pressure of fuel to the injectors,one thing more take the fuel filter out,see if there is no water in,if so this can make the injection pump not working well,this water come from the diesel tank
