If old account was deleted it is gone for good.

If you have not used an old account in a while you would need to open Google Gmail.

Click Settings on the far right, the little thing that looks like a gear
Choose Accounts & Imports in the center of the page.
And request a password reset

login into your account goto settings then delete your account

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

Maybe, try setting-up a second Gmail account, then send transfer) your emails from the old username account to the new username account. If this works, then either try deleting the messages from the old gmail account and transfer the messages from the new gmail account back to the original gmail account ... or ... just delete the old gmail account if you successfully transferred them to the new gmail account.

u can register anytime u want. but u can't delete your old account.

1. Open the old gmail account.
2. On the top, far left corner, click on the icon that looks like a stack of three horizontal lines.
3. On the next page, click on the down arrow at the top of the page.

5. The next page, takes you to "Accounts". Click on "Add another account".
5. From here you can add your preferred gmail account. This one will now be your default gmail account.

If you want to delete a gmail account, follow steps 1-4. Then click on "Edit" on the top right corner. Then you can delete unwanted gmail accounts.

Probably the best and easiest solution is to set up email forwarding from your old account to your new account.
If not, you will need to basically download all your email from your old account and upload it to your new account. This will require some type of desktop email client and quite a bit of setup.

If you're not interested in moving your old email then you could just delete the old account.
