When i turn my computer on the screen is black for awile then it comes on where i can see my screen saver why does it do this

Turn the computer off.
Turn the computer on,
and keep pressing the 'F8' key until you see a "start-up" menu.
Choose "Start in Safe Mode".
Does the screen now look normal?
If so, set the "screen-resolution" to 800-by-600.
Then shutdown and restart.

Remove password

If you are using WINXP, right click on the open desktop. From the pull-down menu, select PROPERTIES. From the PROPERTIES window, select the SCREEN SAVER tab. Uncheck the "On resume, password protect" check box. If you are using WIN 7, go to CONTROL PANEL, then APPEARANCE and PERSONALIZATION, then PERSONALIZATION. At the bottom, select SCREEN SAVER. In the SCREEN SAVER SETTINGS window, uncheck the "On resume, password protect" check box. This will allow you to wake up from screen saver without having to use password.

go to start menu, find the search bar and type in screen saver. If that does not work then go to control panel, Personalization or display and find screen saver. There you can adjust the time when it will kick on.

Bios password at start i get thw start screen tab

IF you have your bill of sale, a good local shop can reset the password but it will still cost you. At least you avoid the shipping and maybe it will be less than $100.

Programs that reset passwords are expensive to buy, IF you can find them.

Otherwise, yes, you have to send it back to the manufacture who will do it for around $100 plus shipping.

Black on two sides of monitor

For the Start menu, I assume you're talking about the taskbar that appears on the bottom of the screen. Press the Windows button on the keyboard (usually located between the Ctrl and Alt button on the left hand side).Right-click on the Start button. Click on the Taskbar tab and check the box that says "Lock the taskbar". Your taskbar should return to your desktop.

Wallpaper (desktop image)

In XP:
Right click on a blank space anywhere on the desktop. Click on graphics properties. You should see a window with your Wallpaper previewed in the top window. Click in the Settings. There should be a setting for "Stretch". Select Stretch and your desktop should return to normal.

In Vista: Right click on a blank space on the desktop, click personalize/display settings/advanced settings Click on your graphics card if available or graphics properties. You're looking for Aspect Ratio options From here you will see a setting with 2 options
  1. Maintain aspect ratio
  2. Full screen (no border)
Depending on your graphics card, this process may differ slightly, but the setting you need is Aspect Ratio

I hope this answers your questions. Best of luck.

Screen Adjustment

On your monitor at the bottom there is 3 buttons. The one all the way to the left is the "menu" button. The next one (going right) is the "NEGATIVE" button. The next one (going right) is the "POSITIVE" button.

You can move your screen around. First, start by pressing the menu button. Then, a menu in blue, with a bunch of little white icons will appear. Next, go over two icons by pressing the positive button twice. Then, proceed to push in the "menu" button again. A bar will appear. By pressing your negative button, your screen will move left. Pressing your positive button will make your screen move right. Adjust your screen until the black on both sides are of even proportion. Then, press the menu button to return to the orginal menu you started at. Proceed to press your positive button two more times. Then, press your menu button. Then, once again, use your positive button, and your negative button to adjust your screen to even out the black on the top and bottom.
