R and Y (with Capacitor in series with either one) is the Start Winding, that, depending on which way they are connected to power, will determine the MOTOR DIRECTION. Good Luck

I need to remove the blower motor from my Emerson Quiet Kool model 1350, how do I do this..

First open the control panel and remove all wires of your fan motor from the control switch and the capacitor. Remove also the compressor wires. Unscrew all panels and move the evaporator farther from the mounting base Pull-out the fan motor assembly with the panels. Unscrew the blower, fan blade, and them from the assembly. Unscrew the motor and now it is free.

My 1988 dodge ram 100,just does not put out enough heat and blowing power to keep up with canadian winters is there any thing i can do to get more heat and air volume.

you can try blocking the radiator with cardboard. the heat comes from your coolant so if its not producing enough heat you either are not getting the truck hot enough or you have a clogged heater core.

Fan blower will not work unless truned all the way up on highest number

If it's only working on one speed:
Replace your blower control module IF you have auto climate controls.

If you have manual knobs- replace the blower motor resistor assembly.

Both are in the same location, under the glovebox. Remove the kick trim piece under the glove box to access the 2 screws that attach the piece to the blower motor. To unhook the electrical connectors, drop the glove box door. Stick your finger in a hold in the door on the left hand side. There you'll feel a spring loaded metal piece, push on this, and the door will release. Empty your glovebox first! Been there done that.

I have an Emerson 1081 Pool Pump Motor , every time I turn it on it trips the circuit breaker , is the motor bad ?

Well, something is wrong. Either the pump or the wiring from the switch to the pump. Pull the pump and take it to a motor shop and have them check it out.

I have emerson quiet kool but the fan with not turn it keep on making a miiiiiiiiii sound

Hi, what has happened here is you have lost the blower motor to the unit. Anytime a motor will not turn and makes noise as it is trying to start, the windings are about gone, and /or the bearings are froze up. I know this is a Emerson, but I don't know the model of this unit, or if it is a window/wall unit or larger. If it is a wall type unit, it will have a dual shaft motor in it for the blower and condenser fan. It would not be worth the cost to have this motor replaced unless it is a Emerson central heating and air system. It is possible that this unit has a run capacitor on it that may have failed, but when this happens the motor will just stop and not make any noise at all. The motor needs to be changed out if its a central unit, and if you want to get an estimate to change it out if its a window or wall unit you can, but it may cost you more then the unit is worth, just to be honest from my years in this business. Please keep me posted on this and what you decide to do. Please don't forget to rate this post as I know you will be kind. I wish I had better news for you, but this happens and there is not much you can do your self. I wish you the best.

Emerson quiet cool

a real hummer. humm can be the sound of a short.but it sounds since u did only turn the fan on it hummed ...fanns are blower motors in acs the motor I bet ate it and needs a new one no way of fixing the motor but most are easy and cheap to replace...go or call an ac applance man ...see if he got a good used one for you or go the manufacture take model make serial no. sometimes u can spin the fan while on and it takes off again...this is dangerous so use a plastic long something but will dy again after u turn it off. good luck.
