Remove the primary belt and mowing deck to give yourself some room to work.
Locate the wires from the clutch and follow them toward the frame until you find the plug and unplug it.
Remove the bolt and washer from the center of the clutch going up into the engine crankshaft and slide it off the shaft. It is quite heavy so be careful when it comes free.

sounds like you have a frayed wire going to the clutch . it too should be 12 volts full time .

it shouldnt need to be released as soon as power is cut to clutch it opens and shuts off if it stuck together your bearing are gone remove it replace with new one sorry good luck

Can't figure out the stack sequence of the belvue washers within the clutch/drive plates on my Husqvarna Electric 16 chainsaw so that the housing fits properly


First to go on is the sprocket, this is followed by the thick washer, then the first belville washer convex down, then the next one concave down, then the final one convex down, then the silver washer and finally the allen screw.

Remove blade clutch from a Husquavrna 4817iz zero turn more.


Remove the footrest. Apply pressure to the belt tensioner to loosen the belt, slip the belt off the pulley opposite the tensioner. Remove the belt from around the electric clutch. Unplug the electric clutch (2 pin connector With a socket wrench, remove the bolt in the end of the crankshaft which holds the electric clutch in place (you may need a piston stop or other device to keep the engine from turning in order to do this), then remove the clutch. Installation is the reverse of removal

Husqvarna chain saw clutch bearing removal


you need a specal tool to remove the clutch assy.it grabs the clutch assy. and you spin it reverse thread.most shops will only charge you a couple of bucks to remove and install it if you have the parts
