SOURCE: RE: pcamerica RPE POS How do

when you go to print you will see an option box with one of your printers in it and a small triangle to the right of the box. click on this and you will have the option to select the printer you want for your priint job. If you want to always use this printer (until you change your mind) set it as the default printer and all your print jobs will go to it automatically to do this go to Control Panel and select printers or if you are using Windows 7 it is under Devices and printes. click on the printer you want to use and set it as default.

What it sounds like is your network did not start up properly after the power outage.

So what you need to do is turn off all your computers and then reboot any routers or switches you have. After they have been up for about 1 minute then turn back on the computers then you should connect properly.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions.

How to find POS System for iPad suppliers?

Hi William. You can get POS for ipad but you will limit yourself to only a few as probably 95% of POS is Windows based due to simpler software, cheaper machines and MUCH larger touch screens with more products on them. Also, you have to buy more expensive (and sometimes unreliable connection) wifi or ethernet printers as the ipad has poor connectivity (no sockets to plug devices in). If you are still keen, check what is available in your area on Google using keywords such as POS, ipad and your area. Hope this helps

Pos terminal no connection to printer

Randy, happy to help you brother, first things first!

Okay lets break this down in simple steps! this sounds like simple Networking issues, due to not printing and being able to use the credit cards features.

Is your POS in the same Network range? usually a network consists of 192.168.ZZZ.1 ( Z being a numerical example) all the way to 254. if your other pos is for example to say then this pos has to be ALSO in the same range but with a different IP lets sayyy or which ever is not in use. let me send you a link with the instructions on how to change an IP>

if your connected to the same network, and you still can't do anything and your ip is correct, then this means that you have another equipment with the same IP as the POS this is called an "IP Conflict" simply change the IP of the adapter and your gonna be good to go.

if everything is perfectly fine, then restart the "Printer Spooler" service within the machine to be able to print and contact the printers. attaching the link aswell

i hope i have been able to help you!

My bixolon SRP 350PLUSII is double printing one receipt, please help me how to solve it

There is no option that I know of, on the printer to do this. I suspect this is an option in the pos software that you are using. If you are using windows try doing a test print to the srp350ii from the printers in control panel and see if it prints once. I am pretty sure it will and that will prove that it is something in the software itself.

I have replaced a posiflex receipt printer with a Problem with the POS X BIXOLON Samsung Kps SRP350 Thermal Receipt Serial Drk Gray Ac Printer I have replaced a posiflex receipt printer with a bixolon...

If the print test works, then that rules out cables, etc. Definitely sounds like a comm setting issue. The most common problem with swapping serial printers is incorrect baud rate. Is that winpos from quest in Aus? I think they might use 9600 baud. You change the printer baud rate using the dipswitches under the panel on the bottom of the printer.
