Fix an Android device that won't charge or turn on
Use the steps on this page to fix the following problems on your phone:
Won't turn on
Has a black or blank screen
Turns on but immediately turns off
Hold the power button
First, try holding down your phone's power button for 5-7 seconds. This usually restarts a phone.
Troubleshoot your cable, charger, outlet & case
Use the charger and cable that came with your phone. To check that the charger and cable are working, try them with another device.
Check that the cable is securely connected to the charger and to your phone. Check that there's nothing in your phone's port, like dust or lint.
Plug the charger into a wall outlet. To check that the outlet is working, plug in something else, like a lamp.
Check that no accessories, like cases or battery packs, cover your phone's sensors or press its buttons.
Troubleshoot your battery charge
Plug in your phone with a working cable, charger, and outlet, then wait one minute.
If you see a battery icon, your phone is powered off and is charging. You can restart right away.
If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your phone, the issue could be with your screen.
I went google and typed in--amazon administration contact number-- and the first page to open is amazon.com-contact us
it has 3 ways to contact them
e-mail
phone
chat
is there a reason why you could not get through
Not familiar with this but it should have a light next to the charge port. Yellow needs charging, green charged. If you get nothing try another cord. If still the same contact Amazon. Amazon. com, click on "Your account", choose Your account at top of page. On far right of page find Kindle help home. On left of next page click contact us. Leave a message and ask for phone call. They will call back soon as possible. I'm sorry to say it could be a faulty device but Amazon help desk will have the answers for you.
Most likely the phone is frozen. Remove the battery and re-insert it and start again. If this fails then you will have to try the factory reset (but may loose all the data and contacts saved on the phone).
Try pulling the battery for about 60 seconds, and clean the contacts and make sure that the battery sits properly and has good contact with the phone.
The LG Ally is designed to turn on while it is charging, so try attaching it directly to a wall socket and possibly using another charging cord if you can. If a new cord plugged into the wall does not turn the phone on, the phone probably has a severe hardware issue that you may not be able to correct through repair, I would recommend sending it in for warranty repair if you are still under warranty unless the phone has physical or water damage.
