The flash works intermittently. I've notice the camera does not auto focus when that happens.

I spilled beer on sony cyber shot and now the screen wont work. It powers up and takes the pic but is all black

Seems to me, the screen has shorted out. To fix this, the camera will have to be disassembled enough to get to the screen and clean the contacts which are many and along two adjacent sides. You can do it on your own if you want to take the risk (and learn about camera electronics). The other two options are to have a technician do it or replace the camera. Replacement may be cheaper than a technician. Do some research before you decide.
