How do set the temp on a 15 gallon tank

leave the heater unplugged in the aquarium in for several hours.Then plug it in briefly and see if the neon bulb lights up (sort of an orange color). If it is on, turn the temp set knob counter clockwise until it goes out. Then turn the knob clockwise slowly until the light comes on again. Now your heater is set for approximately the current temp of the aquarium water. Now adjust the knob in very small increments, waiting hours between adjustments until the water is at the temp you want.

If clean light is blinking then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry or High Temp Wash-Heated Dry-High Temp Wash-Heated Dry . Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

If thermostat is ok then you could have an air lock in your radiator.
Possible water pump not working properly such as the impellor slipping..
Radiator may be partly plugged and not letting the fluid flow.
Are your belts tight enough so they do not slip. Your main belt lightener may not be working so when the engine speeds up it slips instead of working.

try turning on your water at the sink for a while on hot let it run then start the wash cycle that should help. what that will do is let the cold water run out of the pipes and therefore you will have a hot water start.

Purchased "Reliance Lowboy electric water heater"

The water heater has two 4500 watt elements.
However both elements are not turned-ON at same time
So the water heater is 4500 Watts

Volts x Amps = watts
Amps =watts divided by volts
Amps = 4500 Watts divided by 240 Volts
Amps= 18.75

So that says a 20 amp breaker ... except for the 80% rule
80% rules says for safety, your Amp rating should be multiplied by 80%

20 amp breaker X 80% = 16 amps
20 amp breaker is actually safe for just 16 amps, and your water heater draws 18.75 amps.

The calculation shows you need a 30 Amp breaker.
30 Amp breaker requires 10 gauge wire.

Will a 300 rms amp power a cerwin vega vmax 124?

Hello dustin_stewa,

300 watts RMS is a little on the low side, but it'll power the sub. The sub is rated for 500 watts RMS.

If you haven't already purchased the amp, I'd recommend considering one with a little more output, perhaps in the range of 400-600 watts RMS.

Hope this helps.
