Question about LG 42LG50 42 in. LCD HDTV
Power light blinks red 2 times then screen turn on power light blinks red 1 more time then turns blue then shuts off and repeats
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. The Lg lcd was srtruck by a remote and now looks like a small crak on the inside towards the bottom right hand corner and there is no picture but audio does work

if this is a 37lg30 i have brand new spare parts. the tv was never used it was dropped and the screen was damaged so i just took out the parts out. i was originally looking for some one that had a problem with there tv but a good screen like you but its easier to ship out the boards.

Hi, sounds like a power supply problem, most likely needs capacitors replaced, costs about £5 to do it yourself, and a fortune in the repair shop, easy enough if your handy or know someone who is,its worth a try,it'll be going in the bin anyway, cam

The lights indicate what the issue is. Kind of like your check engine light in your car tells you something is wrong with the engine.

you have a bad cap in the power supply
these are can shaped device thet if bad will vent anf put up on the top the valoue is wrtten on the side trplace them and you should be good to go
