Question about Computers & Internet
The recovery disk only helps you to comeback to the startup screen and nothing more, what you need to do is backup. go to control panel...
Click on backup and restore, select the drive that has at least 100gb or more depending on how big is your c: drive and it will make an image of it

Windows 7 x32 recovery disk is used when you have to recover the Windows 7 x32 from a disaster. It works very well but when you want to install or setup Windows 7 x32you have to buy a new Windows 7 x32. Once it is setup and you use your system and you find that the Windows 7 x32 is making some serious problems then you use Window 7 x32 recovery disk. These disks are not the same.
Hope I answered the question.

SOURCE: i have an hp pavilion
first of all you need to get a new windows installation disc.
Secondly create a bootable usb disk from your windows installation disc
last use your usb bootable disk to format your hp.
See how to create bootable disk for form details.

SOURCE: I have acer spire 5745(CPU intel i5 processor 2.5GHz RAM: 6GB OS:Win 7 Home basic) which is 1.5 year old. Yesterday i started acer eRecovery then i can not create operating system recovery disk, but
Unfortunately for you, you didn't follow the Acer instructions. The recovery disc must be created before you start using the computer or making modifications.
There is a remote possibility that if you go into control panel and click on 'restore' and go back to the earliest date, you can then run the recovery disc. Remember that this only a remote possibility and I make no promises.
