SOURCE: senco 600 framing nailer / double hitting(nailing)

double nailing is usually caused when you apply to much pressure on gun causing it to fire on the recoil lighten up just tap it on the surface to be nailed

SOURCE: Senco 601 nailer shoots 2 nails each time the trigger is pulled.

the 601 had a design flaw, in the nose, where the nails hit as the are being pushed forward, the peice was made out of a peice of metal that was too soft, it wore down and that is where you get the double nail problem.

Senco offered a trade in, this was years ago, for a limited time and gave us credit towards new guns, which we gladly did

SOURCE: I have a Senco Frame Pro 600. It will not fire,

You need an o-ring repair kit. As there are a few different versions of the FP600 I don't know which one you need. If you go to www.senco.com and click on the nailers, staplers and collated screwdrivers picture it will take you to a page where you can find the parts list for your particular gun and it will tell you which repair kit you need. If no kit is listed you will have to go through the parts breakdown and order each and every o-ring. If you replace one, replace all of them.

Why does my Senco SN 901 XP frame nailers driver stay forward?

not sure what powers the senco if it works on combustion or air could be damage O rings. Another possibility is a trapped nail under the blade. Have seen where a nail has not been driven out of the magazine but has bent and points down the magazine close to end of gun. What happens is the blade drives over the nail but becomes trapped between nail and roof of the nose assy. Probably need to strip the gun a little.

Senco pro frame 601 just blows air when trigger is pulled

Senco nailers are mostly not lubricated but moisture and dirt do they have the neck compressor not tapped in time and then inside the top cover of this tools can have that or the parts are hanging can not move freely and clean, solvent them out and grease it with silicon OKS1110 Kluber Silubrin or Dow Corning DC4 in most cases the models of Senco are oilless IF the seal of the piston is made out of kevlar instead of a plain o-ring .

Senco 601-at its deepest setting the nail likes a 1/4 inch of being flush. 110-130 psi and oiled good

The tip of the driver could be missing. Easy to check, remove nails from the gun, connect air, then push the nose against rubber hose (scrap airhose) (tilt the gun to side while pushing the nose against hose so that you can see the driver come out) and depress and hold trigger. When you fire the gun the driver should be visable (about 3/16 past nose). If you dont see the driver, then most likely broken at tip. If the driver is visable, then most likely adjusted to high or safety foot bent. Good luck

What degree nails

Hi, Senco 601's use a 34 Degree Strip nail. Easiest way to remember is this when thinking of Senco strip nailers:
601 and 651 are 34 Degree clipped head nails
602 and 652 are 20 Degree FULL round head nails

Senco nailer won't fire nails, but the firing pin dents the wood almost 1/4 inch.

Hi Jes,

Are the nails moving freely in the magazine if you pull the mag spring back? If so, then the driver blade is not returning to top dead centre - leaving enough of the blade to stop the next nail moving into the nose. This could be caused by a slight back pressure in the cylinder so, check the exhaust is clean and free of any swarf. Or check the O Ring on the driver blade, even though you've just replaced them....

Senco trigger schematic

Go to the Senco website at www.senco.com, click on the "Parts Charts/Specs/Manuals" tab at the top then scroll down to Frame Pro 502 where you can view or download the manual or parts guide. Their parts guides have very good exploded views of the tools and are very helpful when reassembling them.

My senco frame pro 650 has an air leak and is evident from the exaust port when sitting idle. Is there a gasket kit available? How do I diagnos where the leak is originating? Thanks

Its not gaskets it is ''o'' rings its not always that apparent with orings so you order in a oring kit and replace all orings pay attention with your triger orings as they are very small i suggest you get a white board and lay all components out in order of removal they are pretty staight forward in there no springs or nastey supprises Oring kit normally has exploded diagram of gun and how it goes together
