Model 4075 white sewing machine thread from bobbin builds up and stops sewing.

Check the stitching and confirm that it is in fact bobbin thread and not the top thread that is creating knots & loops under the fabric. This is usually the case and is called thread nests or bird nests. (You can search the internet for more information about this symptom.)

Install a brand new needle.
Remove the thread from the machine.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot while rethreading the upper thread.
Confirm the thread path is correct.
Verify the bobbin is installed facing the correct direction in the bobbin case and the bobbin case is threaded properly.

Set the upper tension to the midway point (factory standard) although it may need to be tweaked as machines change with use and time.

Pull up the bobbin thread. This method works with general sewing projects, not just quilting.
How and Why to Bring up the Bobbin Thread

Begin to test sew slowly.

If the thread is still making a mess, then the machine most likely has a timing issue. There are multiple web sites and videos that discuss sewing machine timing. Or take it for service.

Upper thread is not pulling lower thread from bobbin up through sewing hole

increase the needle thread tension up more the tension is correct when the threads meet at the middle of the material being sewn

Won't catch the bobbin thread everytime. skips. I have retreaded everything several times, reajusted tension, and even the presser foot tension.

Install a brand new needle.

Check the upper tension: Remove the thread. RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. This ensures the thread is seated properly in the tension disk. Make sure the bobbin case is threaded properly.

If still missing the bobbin thread, it probably has a needle/hook timing issue.

Side wheel will not turn all the way

it's possible that the machine has a timing problem and would be a good idea to have it checked

Hello dear

have you tried changing the needle?
have you tried adjusting the top thread tension?
it might be the needle and the thread are not compatable,, the needle may be to light for the thread.
if the suggestions don't help, sew on the sewing machine till it makes the loop and then stop the machine and take it to the repair man and let him see the loop and then ask him why it's making the loop.

I can not get the thread from the bobbin to grab the thread

Things to check: 1) is the needle bent? Replace needle. 2) Do you have any lint/dirt in the bobbin case or the race (where the thread catches)? Clean the bobbin case. 3) Make sure that you are using the correct bobbin for your machine and that it is installed correctly. 4) Check that the bobbin case tension is correctly set. (For some machines this is easy. If the bobbin case can be easily removed, hold onto the bobbin thread and dangle the bobbin and bobbin case assembly. Additional thread should not pull through.)

The bobbin case or race may be damaged. Depending on the brand and model, you may find a replacement at your sewing machine dealer or online. If you add a comment with the your machine brand and model, I may be able to provide additional assistance.

(make sure you hold onto the top thread and have the presser foot down.)
