Cant connect to my dell inspiron 8100

I think you should check the wireless settings of your router first.
If your wireless network is secured then make sure that you have the correct wireless network key WEP / WPA .
If your router is too old then it will be better to upgrade the firmware of your Linksys router.

I HAVE A DELL INSPIRON 2200 WHICH IS SHOWING THAT I AM CONNECTED WIRELESS TO THE INTERNET BUT WHEN I GO TO THE INTERNET IT COMES UP WITH THE MESSAGE CANNOT DISPLAY THIS PAGE

The problem is likely with your wireless routers connection to the modem. Go to your wireless modem and router, unplug both for 10 seconds, and then plug them both back in and wait for them to get started again.

Can't connect using wirless internet with dell inspiron 2200

There is no switch on an Inspiron 2200. I would go to Dell's website and download the drivers for your model # and then uninstall the existing adapter. then try installing the new driver and let me know what happens.

Dell Inspiron 6000 with network card Intel/Pro Wireless 2200 BG

So u can connect to the router, but you arent allowet to access the internet?
The router gave your dell a new ip-number, but it dident gave you access to the net. You ned to do the settings in your router manual, let the router give your dell full access.

Good luck

Wireless network

She would need a wireless card. Make sure the 802 standard is the same as the router supports. An n wireless card will not work on a router that is a g. you can also enter the settings of the router to make sure it is set to the accept the standard she uses on her wireless. my linksys can do b and g... but i have it set to only accept g. make sure you set security on the router when you have a connection establish so you aren't sharing your internet with wireless neighbours.
