The radio would need to be reprogrammed by an authorized Motorola dealer with the appropriate proprietary Motorola software subscription.

Best regards.

There are no factory default settings. Just program each channel as you desire.

This would be something only your dealer could perform, or someone with the Motorola proprietary software and cable.

Typically this can only be done by the factory, or by the dealer who originally programmed the unit.

No display

First check your battery. When a battery is bad or low it can cause various items to fail including loss of transmit and LED screens going dark. If the battery doesn't seem to be the problem, your radio is in need of repair.

My Motorola Radius CP200 has lost all channels that was set by dealer is there a way to reset back to factory settings?

It is seldom a CP200 loses frequencies/PL code settings. It is more likely the radio has a bad battery or another issue. The only way to reprogram the radio is by taking it back to a Motorola dealer, as they are all dealer programmable only. Sorry.

Best regards.

Reset to Factory Defaults (Pg. 34)

Reset to Factory Defaults will set back all radio

features to the original factory default settings.

To do so, press PTT, SB2 and SB1

simultaneously while turning ON the radio until
you hear a high tone chirp.

Cant reset my motorola talkabout t5000

Constant static can be a sign of a bad or low battery. If the battery is known to be good, try the radios outside the factory setting to see if the problem persists. If you have no problem when you are away from the machinery, you may need to set your interference eliminator code to a number other than zero. This will turn your eliminator ON, which will block out the radio frequency interference caused by the machines.

If the problem persists outside of the factory, then you should try replacing the batteries. OR possibly just cleaning the battery contacts with a pencil eraser.

The method you are using for resetting the radio will take the radio back to the factory default settings. It will not solve the problems listed above. It will only reset the frequency and code back to the original settings.
