Hi, I got a tp-link 8901g, but no pin code exists behind the router. Only there is a P/N on its pocket with 10 digits, while I need a 8-digit pin for configure my wireless network. What should I...

If you are configuring your wireless network for the first time there should be no pin required, if there is it should be listed in the manual of the device. If you received this router second hand then you will most likely need to perform a factory reset on it to remove any passwords the previous owner may have set. The default login to the router to access all of the router configuration is user: admin password: admin. To factory reset the router you need to hold the reset button with a pin/paper clip while powering the device on and continue holding it for 15 seconds after powering it back on. This should wipe out all configuration and let you back to stock parameters where you can access the router at and use admin/admin to access and reconfigure your wireless settings from scratch.

Steering wheel radio control not working

You most likely have a defective Combination switch (Also known as "Spiral Cable" or "Clockspring") The audio system uses pins 14, 18, and 17 of the combination switch to make conmection to the audio system. Pin 17 is the reference voltage in. A failure here, will cause ALL audio controls to malfunction at the same time.
The cruise control uses Pins 19 & 20 of the combination switch....Totally different circuit. Just because this circuit is working, does not mean that the problem is not in the combination switch.

My network setup is asking for a pin number that is on my router. Obviously there is no pin number for this particular router and my network is asking for a 4 or 8 digit number. What do I do?

If its asking for a pin number I would check the sticker on the bottom of the router. it may have the router PIN you are looking for. If not trying typing in your internet browser address bar and find the network settings and see if there is a pin set up, if so write it down or clear it to have no PIN

I need to no my 8 diget pin on my belkin router and it is not on the router

Are you trying to connect to the wireless network
on a WINDOWS VISTA / 7 computer? Sometimes on the
windows vista computer , it will ask you for the
PIN number when you try to connect to the wireless
network. On the same window at the bottom you will
find the option " I want to connect to the network
or I want to enter the key manually". If you click
on that option , it will ask you for the security
If you don't know the security key, then you will
need to check the settings of the router. You will
need to open the router set up page where you can
check all the wireless settings of teh router. If
you want, you can also find the PIN on the
wireless settings page of the router.
If you are trying to connect any other wireless
device to the network and it is asking you for the
PIN then you will need to open the set up page of
the router and under wireless settings you will
find PIN.

I have a wireless laptop and my new router wants a pin number before ir conects were can i find the pin number my router is a linksys g wireless adsl2+gateway

pin number or password. the password for the router for administration is admin and admin.... for security you may wish to change them. the pin number is likely for connecting to a secure network. it may actually be on a label on your router or you need to sign into your router to obtain it. first you need to hook into the router with a network cable from your computer to the router. open a web browser and type the hopefully the default password wasn't changed (or you know it) once you have signed in find the tab for wireless security. your code/pin should be in the second tab of the submenu
