That indicated you have a jammed gear in the tray mechanism. You might be able to unjam it by taking the cover off and manually running the tray out (with the unit unplugged!), putting the cover back on, plugging it back in... but more than likely you will need to buy a new cd player.
your optic laser is probably dirty.you need to open this device up and clean the eye as they call it its a lens looking circle clear eye.You have to be very very carefull as you could make your problems far more worst that they are at the moment.You can use a q tip to do this dnt use any chemicals u can use peroxide though with a q tip or soft tissue
Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry. If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.
If its two weeks old why are you here? Take it back to point of purchase and either have it fixed or replaced or get a refund.....
From the brand you likely are in UK but here all sets come with some kind of warranty==the problem sounds like a power supply issue but if you have a warranty and open the set it will void that warranty.
