DEAR FRIEND,
ngfam1 here for you!
I am happy to be of assistance!
Check lint filter is cleaned every load.
And that the outside animal guard where the vent opens outside is clear. If it's even half way clogged it will not dry or get hot!

Otherwise
for this is a situation that you will need service!

Here is the service company I refer my appliance customers too!
A&E Factory Service
A Nation Wide Company. / Available 24 / 7 for arranging appointments! In the USA.

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

Good luck!
You will be fine now!

SOURCE: I have a Frigidaire Affinity Clothes dryer

Hi wonderfullym...

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like the drum rollers are in need of lubrication, or maybe your drum belt has slipped off of the idler arm pulley.

Note: This method works with most front loading machines.

Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer if you have to.
Note: Some tops hinge and tilt backwards so they do not have to be removed and the electrical console with stay with the lid.
Also remove the lint filter and the screws holding the lint filter housing in place.
Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer by removing two screws located on either side of the top of the dryer housing and unplug the door switch.
This will expose the drum and belt. Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm pulley and motor. Now is a good time to replace the front felt seal on the drum if it needs to be replaced. Be sure to use a good grade of weatherproof cement on the seal to glue it to the drum, sometimes the glue is furnished with the seal.
Now is also a good time to check the belt to see if it has slipped off of the idler arm pulley and also to check the belt condition for wear.
Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt.
Check your drum rollers for flat spots or wear, if they have flat spots or wear they will make a thumping type of noise.
If your drum rollers have too much wear on them replace them.
If the drum rollers don't have flat spots or wear on them and are only squeeling then they probably only need lubrication.
Remove the rollers and clean the shafts that the roller rolls on, remove any hair, dust, etc from roller and shaft.
Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil, or a light lubricant like Vaseline.
Reassemble the dryer.
Plug back into your electrical receptical.
This should solve your noise problem.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

LG dryer doesn't dry clothes on one cycle. Lint collects around bottom of door rubber seal. Have noticed, the door is not closed tight. How to get door to stay closed tightly?

It sounds like you have a plugged up vent causing air to try to blow out around door instead of out vent. Also check door latch to see if anything is broken.

Error Code re5, dryer runs but no heat.

Good Afternoon Henry, thank you for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire dryer is displaying an error code of "re5" and will not heat. I have researched our available information for dryer and without having the model number the error code appears to be invalid. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for roughly ten minutes. If you restore power and continue to receive the error code can you please comment back with the model number? You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your dryer. With that information I would be happy to assist you further. -Matt

What do i do when my frigidaire dryer shows error code 68

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# LEQ2152ES0, is showing a 68 error code. The E68 error code means that there is a possible button that is stuck. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your dryer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Dryer will not run

Hi Carolyn - Error code RES commonly refers to RESUME. Let's trying pressing the RESUME button or START on your dryer. If it proves ineffective, let's reprogram the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the appliance back on. Once you select an option, the unit should resume to normal operations. However, if the issue persists then the dryer may possibly be experiencing a communication error with the control board or a potential wiring failure. In this regard, I would suggest contacting an Authorized Service Technician that will be able to assist you in the diagnosis of your appliance.

Error code AD error code DN

it means auto dry it will check the temp of the clothes so if they dryer quicker then 40-45 minutes it will shut off earlier instead of running the full 40-45 minutes. In the manual it says AD is the adjusting time according to moisture level for those who keep drying but display this it is normal for those who display and size to dry is not normal if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

Our 2 year old Roper dryer sometimes does not shut off. It went for 9 hours yesterday. What could do this?

Do you dry be sensor or by time

Generic comment

If by sensor ... clean the sensors with alcohol or what ever the manufacturer suggests.

If the sensors are covered with "fabric softener" they can't see the cloths are dry and presume they are not - thus they keep trying.

I hope this solves your toruble.

I HAVE A KENMORE 110-67082600 DRYER AND I AM GETTING F44 CODE

The F44 fault code indicates a blower motor control electronics failure. This can be caused by a wire harness connection problem between the machine electronic control board and the blower motor electronic control board. You will normally need a technician to diagnose and repair this type of failure. If you have the technical ability to safely access and check internal components in your dryer I can include the diagnostic portion of the manual.
Let me know.
