Dell m5110 laptop won't charge new battery and ac adapter is not recognized in bios

Try another AC cord/charger with the EXACT same specs as original. Is the battery a genuine Dell battery, if not return it? Some aftermarket laptop batteries don't play well with your computer, the pin-out connections aren't correct and MAY be a fire hazard.

Batery won't charge new battery n plug

You may have the wrong AC adaptor, Dell is very picky when it comes to Power adaptors, it must be original OEM Dell for the laptop to recognize it, any after market no name brand even though it has the right specs and is made for your model will power your laptop but the circuit to charge your battery will automatically be closed

Charging problem of dell pp41L, it works as an ac online power bt it doesn't charge it.

If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My asus notebook won't charge i just bought last five days ago, and now it won't charge.. i tried to remove the battery and attach the adapter, but it still doesn't open..

if it wont charge it most likely has a bad battery...if you just bought it, I would suggest returning it for a replacement. Make the vendor or manufacturer make good on their product.

Hello. At first, the indicator light that shows whether the battery is loading/getting empty etc. failed. As I thought it wasn`t important I continued using the laptop. Then the battery loading adapter...

Most probably this is caused by the battery charging circuit inside your laptop. It looks like it is not charging the battery. If this is the case you won't be able to fix it yourself. You and should send it for repair.

What are the original specs on the emachines eslate 400K?

I do not see the 400k as a model, I believe it may have been there is one more piece needed for the model. Can you please click here, and see if your product has any of the enteries under Model. When you choose a model, it will take you to a page that will allow you to view several things, such as user manual, faq, software information, and specifications.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. Include the model number from the page, and I will be happy to track down further information.

Computer won't accept a compatible replacement battery for Dell Inspiron 6400

This could be due to a defective battery even though it is new. These batteries are what are called smart batteries. They have circuit boards mounted inside the battery pack that aids the computer in recognizing the battery as well as sending functional information to sensors in the laptop about battery health and performance. Try re-installing the old battery and see if it recognizes the old battery. if it does, the contact the company you purchased the battery from and let them know the problem. If the computer does not recognize the old battery anymore, there may be a problem with the charging circuit on the motherboard or the power adapter on the motherboard.

Emachines eslate 450k

It's possible that it could be the CD-ROM drive itself or the boot sequence. Check the BIOS boot order and or other bootable CD/DVD's. Post back
