How do I tell how many digits and letters there are in a Austel computer. I have the serial number PM2K782/0102
by going to system information everything will be displayed.. check once.. i hope that helps you....

SOURCE: the letters on my keypad
1. Open the on screen keyboard by going to "control panel" then "Ease of Access Center" then click on "onscreen keyboard".
2. click and hold down the "Fn" key on the physical keyboard and then hit F11 on the onscreen Keyboard.
3. All Fixed. Spread the word.

There should be a sticker or tin plate on the tower with the model and serial #.
The Serial Number is usually located on top front of the unit; may be repeated on the back or sides.
