What to do to fix the bobbin thread from jamming up everytime

There are a couple of reasons that can cause this.
a. Raise the pressure foot. As you load the top thread give small tugs to check for snags. They must be stopped.
b. Once the top threading is done on top lower the pressure foot. Now, give a tug on the thread. Is the tension really hard or just average? You may need to lower the tension to stop the jamming of the bobbin thread.
c. Clean the bobbin area. Check the bobbin tension and adjust as you need to.
d. Put a drop of oil on the race. (Thing the bobbin case sits on)
e. As the bobbin hook (sharp thing) is rotating does the bobbin case move back and forth a lot. You may need to adjust the bar that is next to the bobbin case so it can't rotate. Usually you will need to move it forward.
SEE INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO ADJUST THE BOBBIN. TENSION OF UPPER AND LOWER THREAD MUST BE RIGHT.

My sewing machine needle (very new one) keeps jamming every couple of turns of the needle - and the thread is very loose and loopy on the fabric. It makes a jarring noise

not quite sure how needle is jamming. I have had them break, had thread ball up underneath and caused needle to jam. Question is the needle in the right way, ie the flat side in as per manual, generally the flat side faces away from you. Sounds like your tension is not quite right if the thread is looping. Loops on bottom, bobbin tension, on top sewing machine tension

I need to access the tension plates on my Pfaff creative 7570

To access the tension disks, remove the top of the machine as follows: 1. With the carrying handle raised, remove the cover (the piece that has all the stitches pictured). 2. Unscrew 2 screws completely; one is in the depression where the thread spool goes and the other is right behind the bobbin winder. 3. pull straight up. You may have to jiggle it a bit. 4. you should be able to see the tension disks from here.

Tension

Little fingers can cause issues, especially if you leave the machine out.

Now, Loosen the top tension.
Take out the bobbin shuttle and locate the little screws. Tighten them 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Do a test seam. Keep working this way until you get LOOPS ON BOTTOM... then tighten the top tension until you get a balanced stitch.

Elna 9000 bobbin problem

try changing the needle,,make sure the needle & thread & fabric are correct for each other
make sure the bobbin is turned the right way
it's also possible that when the needle gets jammed or broken that the machine can become out of time
and would have to be retimed at a sewing machine shop

I have looping underneath. Top stitch looks great.

top tension is too loose, check threading up and tension dial. should be on 4-6. read manual and if possible clean tension device. if it is accessible you turn dial to zero and "floss" between tension discs using selvage edge of clean piece of cotton fabric. you can moisten it with denatured alcohol if very dirty. thread sheds dye particles, especially black or cheaper threads. needs to be removed regularly to keep tension discs clean. turn back dial to 5 after and thread up again. often this will resolve the problem

Check your threading, especially your bobbin because usually looping on top means the bobbin is not set right, Read your manual,

Bobbin jams

This is a common problem with all sewing machines. You must make sure that both needle and bobbin thread are behind the sewing foot and that there is at least 4inches of each thread before you begin stitching. Thread jams can also be caused by improper placement of bobbin in the casing. Place the bobbin in the case so the open side is facing you, the thread end should be on your right, then slide the thread into the opening leaving about 6 inches to pull through. It may look like it should be the other way, but there needs to be some tension. If these solutions do not help, you probably need to have your machine cleaned and adjusted.
