Rinnai R85 starts to warm then stops and blinks 61??

I went to the Rinnai website and this is what I found for error code 61.
Error Code 61 Problem: Fan failure
Solution: Measure the resistance on the fan motor, check the damaged or loose wiring and connections. Make sure that the fan spins freely.
Sounds like either your fan is broken or something is keeping it from spinning freely.
Hope this helps.

I have replaced the evaporator fan and the main board and am still getting the ef error code

Hi, your unit has a loose harness behind the fan motor at the wall. Manually push in every wire to assure a good connection, the error you have is that the control can't sense the fan speed. Unplug the unit when you do this to assure the computer can see and sense the fan. Failure to unplug first will not work. Good Luck.... PS once fixed use a sealant to keep these connection tight and clean.

I have an HP m9050 MFP which gives an error 30.01.06-Scanner Failure whenever i touch the copy button and it all started after blowing and servicing

Based on the service manual a 30.01.06 Scanner failure:
1. With the MFP powered on,
verify that the fan is not
2. Check for loose connections
and broken, frayed, or pinched
wires. Reseat the fan connector at
scanner control PCB location
J110, and connector J163 on the
flatbed fan.
3. Replace the fan. See "Flatbed
fan assembly" on page 154.

However print of a configuration page or event log and look at the past 30.X.X error codes make sure it's not jumping between a 30.01.06 - 30.01.10 as it could be something more than just the fan.

Trouble with model LFC25760ST inside display refrig registering Err and freezer FF and things are not cold

That is a freezer fan motor error, the freezer fan is no longer running. Check the freezer fan for a loose connection, if everything checks out ok there you probably need to replace freezer fan.

How do I reset the error log in the bios? At boot up is reads that the CPU fan is not running but it is.

The bios is not picking the fans information,ie speed and temperature, therefore given an alert that the fan is not working.

The fan has three wires, black which is the negative, red which is the positive and the yellow which feeds the bios with the information, even though the fan is working the bios thinks it is not, to solve this check the connector for the fan is attached properly, unplug from the board and give it a blow, and the same with the connecter on the board and plug it back in. Boot up the computer.
If you still have the same problem then you might have check the connection to the fan to see if it is loose at all, if not to solve the error mesage you will have to buy a new fan.

There is a message which says that an error has ocurred with the ventilation

HI. This will occur if the motherboard has detected an error within the cooling fans structure. The fan may have failed, mechanically, or there may be a loose connection at the fan circuit, as well. Kindly open the desktop compartment access panel, and observe the cooling assembly. This will most likely be a set of cooling fans, mounted on the rear of the desktop compartment. If the fans are not rotating, this will be the cause of the error. check the fan connections at the fan motor, and motherboard connection port,as well. If the connections are sound, replace the cooling fan(s).

To determine if the motherboard is the issue, simply jump the fan with a 9 volt battery. If it is operational when jumped, this will indicate a more serious issue that concerns the motherboard, or heat sinks.

Fan making noise help

Start by taking the machine apart, cleaning the fan, and checking the connection. The failure may be due to debris buildup or a loose connection, and I've also seen fans stop working because a hair has gotten wound in them. If it still doesn't work properly after cleaning, then it will need to be replaced. Here's a link that has breakdown diagrams and instructions, this should help.
