Be more explicit...
But I can answer, in generally.
connect a cable from one LAN port to your PC , open a browser and access http://192.168.0.1 with username "admin" and no password. Go to "setup" > "internet" > "manual internet connection setup", there you must select "PPPoE (username / password)" and put your username and password from your ISP, or from where you connect.
That-s all.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Without seeing the ends I cant help you here but I can steer you towards Allied Electronics. Give them a call and tell them what you have. They should be able to cross reference for them or have converters available.

What to insert for PPPoE Service name to connect to internet

PPPoE stands for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, it's basically authentication for ISPs that use Usernames and Passwords to get you connected to the internet. If your ISP uses PPPoE you'll have to change the 360's settings to connect to the Xbox Live service.

Your PPPoE info should have been given to you when you signed up for your internet service(some ISPs even print the info somewhere on your hub/modem), otherwise you'll have to call them up and get the info from them. It's also important to know that if you're ISP doesn't use PPPoE you should leave these settings blank on your 360 or it won't connect.

Since you haven't connected to the live yet I'll assume you're still on the older dashboard so it should go like this:

1. Move to the System area of the Xbox dashboard.
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select Edit Settings.
4. On the Additional Settings tab, select PPPoE Settings.
5. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the PPPoE information that was provided to you by your ISP.
6. Select Done.
7. Select Apply and Test when you are prompted to do this.

New dir 625 with DSL-cat5 connection and NO internet on status.

If it keeps on trying to connect to PPPoE, try not to use PPPoE setting. Use Automatic Configuration or DHCP connection type.

Hacker tried to get into my computer

192.168.X.X is an internal network address...your "hacker" is either in the same room, or at least on your network, the other is an IP in San Francisco, CA, and PPPoE is a very unlikely method for a "hacker" to use, it's actually a very secure method of connecting 2 computers over the internet.

Can't connect to 3Com Office connect wireless from Apple Mac Pro

PPPoE connection is set up

1. Control Panel, double-click Network Connections. 2. Click the PPPoE connection under the Broadband group that you want to share, and then click Change settings of this connection under Network Tasks. 3. On the Advanced tab, click to select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box. 4. PPPoE connections behave in a similar way as do dial-up networking (DUN) connections, and you may want the connection to be automatically dialed when another computer on your network attempts to connect to the Internet. To do this, click to select the Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet check box. 5. If you want to allow other network users to enable or disable the shared Internet connection, click to select the Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection check box. 6. Under Internet Connection Sharing, in Home networking connection, click the LAN (Local Area Network) connection that connects the computer that is sharing its PPPoE Internet connection to the other computers on your network.

Actually in short  "you NEED A MODEM;"
In order to connect your router you need to connect a modem in "bridge mode'( bridge mode is nothing but a configuration on the modem)..

Can not connect to PPPOE DSL

Is there a reason why the Sonicwall needs to do the PPPOE auth? You should be able to let the modem do the PPPOE connection and have the Sonicwall behind it. The Sonic wall will get a private IP address. Andy
