Hello mckone,This may denote a situation with the audio output IC (may have cracked due to high current), however more likely is an exploded capacitor in the audio section of the TV, or even the power supply to the audio section. All of the possibilities should be checked by a qualified TV technician due to the nature of the possible problem. I hope this helps,Thank you,Shuttle83http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

Why does my sound system pop when I switch channels with my tv remote?

you have a volume control on your source(ie. satellite or cable) & a volume control on the TV. If you have both too high you may get a pop when you change channels. You will need to lower the volume on both until you come to a satisfactory compromise between the two systems.

The tv was giving as a gift in 2012. So I believe that I put the right model in. I was watching the tv and went to change the channel, when I noticed that the box with the channel number looked differ

Your symptoms point to the main board [the board with all the input connections], no simple fix, you must replace the board. Less likely the keypad is bad, just unplug the keypad and see if channel display stops popping up.

No sound on t.v. but popping and crackling from speaker

Sanyo sets have a horrible track record, if the set is still under warranty return it. The problem could be in either the power supply or main board. It will have to be diagnosed properly to be sure.

My Fender Hot Rod deluxe makes a popping noise when switching back to the clean channel.

This is because your clean channel only runs through the pre-amp section, requiring an increased volume level to match that of the volume of the drive section which is overdriven by the pre-amp circuit. my suggestion is to use lower volume level on the clean channel of the amp. To get any volume boost you may need to match the two channels you could use a signal/volume booster or overdrive pedal between your guitar and amp input, switching it off and back on when you switch back and forth between channels.

No sound in sound bar and subwoofer

It could be that the unit is bad, it could also be that the device providing the input is bad. I doubt the cables are bad, but that could be also. Could it be possible that your television has a menu setting that turns the outputs off and on?

Even without the sub, you still get sound through the Bar.

Only way to test it is, different cables, alternate device to provide input for sound.
