SOURCE: how to open the jbl radial micro speaker set?

Bit late! Just remove the four rubber feet underneath (self adhesive). Take out the four philips screws. It's a bit of a mess inside - you'll have to remove the connectors and some screws to get to the i-pod connector. You dont need to remove the button pcbs just the main board. The i-pod connector pcb is on the end of the grey ribbon cable connected to the main board (the button end of the unit).

You need to press the bluetooth button on the bar. It's on the right, hold it until it flashes.

PAIRING THE JBL SB400 FOR WIRELESS OPERATION
After turning the soundbar and subwoofer on for the first time, you will need to "pair" the subwoofer and soundbar so they both operate at the same wireless frequency. To pair the units, press the Wireless Pairing switches on both units within 30 seconds of each other. The units will communicate with each other and operate at the same frequency.

Iphone6 states "connected" to JBL Charge but no sound. Worked fine up until a few days ago. Both show paired.

Are they connected or paired now? Make sure you don't have any other device near that may have Bluetooth on. Like a laptop, PC,or tablet. Try forgetting the device, and reconnecting. If this fails make sure your phone isn't on wifi and cellular. If this all fails. I imagine its not the fault of your transmitter, but lies in the fault of your reciever, the JBL flip. Also, is it fully charged and is the speaker holding a charge? I'm a small Bluetooth speaker junkie, and I'm sorry but I am not impressed with these at all. There are much cheaper, and better made out there, than this one.

Trying to bluetooth pair a Cowan s9 to a jbl charge

Bluetooth connection should be in Settings menu. From there, choose Bluetooth then turn on the Bluetooth transmitter by touching the second option from the left at the bottom of the screen (Bluetooth symbol). After that, press the locate Bluetooth button (the leftmost choice). Make sure your headset is turned on. The player should list your headset once it finds it. There might be a button on headset that needs to be pressed in order to pair it with a device. Once the headset is located it should ask you for the pairing code (usually 0000). If the code is different for your headset, press the rightmost button at the bottom of the screen and enter the code.

I have a JBL wireless flip speaker and even after reading the so-called manual, I have absolutely NO idea how to use it . My iPad has blue tooth capability but,I,don,t even know what, exactly is Bluetooth...

Once you put the JBL speaker on, turn on bluetooth on your ipad, search for bluetooth device, it takes a few minutes sometime to locate your speaker, once you see your speaker listed in the bluetooth device, click on the device. IT will connect but at times it might ask for a PIN.
