Question about IBM ThinkPad R52 Notebook
BROAD UNID PXE -2.1 V7.7.5 COPYRIGT [C] 2000-2004 BROADCOM CORPORATION COPYRIGHT [C] 1997-2000 INTEL CORPORATION ALL RIGHT RESERVED BROADCOM BASE CODE PXE 2.1 V1.0.1 COPYRIGT [C] 2000-2004 BROADCOM CORPORATION COPYRIGHT [C] 1997-2000 INTEL CORPORATION PXE-E61: MEDIA TEST FAILURE, CHECK CABLE PXE -M0F: EXITING BROADCOM PXE ROM. OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND
You have set up the computer BIOS to boot from the network card. That means the BIOS starts up the network card which goes out on a company LAN to look for the operating system
If you did this by mistake while playing in the BIOS then you can go into the BIOS , usually by pressing F2 when you first turn the computer on, and going to boot menu and picking your hard drive.
If you bought the laptop the way it is, then it probably doesn't have an OS on the hard drive and may not have a hard drive at all.
If you came by this laptop by illegal means then I am chuckling at your misfortune.
