Inserting additional memory

i take it your talking about the ram memory make sure that you get compatible parts as this can cause you serious problems this is not a job for some body with not a lot of knolege of taking them apart but if you get the case of you should see a place on the boar where their are a strip off chips inserted into a slot this will be on the board and their is usuallt two slots side by sode the might be only one used and one empty one if they are both used check that the ones or ones you are putting in is compatible leave it plugged in but switched of at plug as this will earth the unit out incase you have a lot of static in your body as this can damage the memory before you take the new one out you need to earth yourself first by touching a radiator this gets static out your body their should be a clip either side of the memory push these back take them out insert the new ones put it back together and they should install them selves unless you got the disk their is only one way round they can go but if you are unsure take it to a shop because its not worth doing it if you are not confident in taking them apart as it is quite tricky but not that difficult if you know how to take the cases off hope this is some help///////////////////////
