Hello. You can't clean fan, it is dead or almost dead it have to be replaced for the new one. In order to determine which fan it is you have to remove TV's rear cover, locate lamp door switch ( it have blue plastic spring loaded lever) push it (otherwise TV will not turn on) and check which fan does not spin. Generally there are 3 fans - Ballast, lamp and DMD. DMD is the smallest one in size. If you feel that this is too much to do - ask professional for help, repair should cost you around $200. Regards. Russ.
Hi there! It is a bit difficult without a model, however the fans are located on the inside and fan 2 has failed so the panel will notify you of this failure. Depending on how many fans your panel uses check for the one that is either not turning anymore or is turning slower than normal. It may be marked as Fan 2 on the board where it is connected. Make sure that you purchase the same spec fan and take note of the direction of fitment for optimum cooling.(Direction of airflow or label side). Ensure that the power is unplugged from the wall when removing the cover or if not familiar please refer to a repairer. Best Wishes and Good Luck, JUS004
Since the lamp generates a lot of heat, the fans are continuously monitored for correct function. The owner's manual should show you the location of the fans. Make sure that the grills covering the fans are clear of dust and that the fans are clean. Sometimes dirt can cause the fan blades to slow down enough to trigger the safety alert.
