Hi, is the tv set to analogue broadcast, should it not be set to digital. I have a Grundig that does the same thing on analogue. If your tv is and/digi this might be the issue.
I suggest you go to the MENU setting and do a 'rescan' to see if you get the channels back. You might need to readjust your antenna, or make sure that the storm yesterday didn't damage your antenna, cable or power interruption on your TV box. Good luck.
the radio could be bad as well. if the tuner in the radio is bad it wont get reception either. go with a good aftermarket one not a cheapy there no good anyway.
In the USA broadcasts are not analog any longer they are digital. So if you have an antenna hooked up to your TV you will need a digital converter hooked up to your input wire (from antenna) and then an output from the converter to the TV. Most satellite and cable companies use RG56 cable which will work fine with an antenna set up as well, so cabling should not be a problem. Make sure you set your TV mode (input or source) to the proper input where you have hooked up the cable to the TV as well. It is unimportant which input you use, but the TV has to have it set to the same one. If you are outside of the USA, the above should be the same because broadcast over the air and antennas set ups are universally the same in nature and design. I hope this helps and good luck!
The problem is: The antenna(s) on the body of the radio are missing. Would like to know where they can be purchased. Not a rocket science question. Any assistance would be appreciated.
If the antenna connector is missing it probably has been broken off. I suggest that you use a HDTV cable box and connect with component connectors. Green, Blue, Red video + red & white audio.
If you are on off the air antenna, the cable box can be gotten from eBay.
If you have satellite, hook up either video or HDTV connections.
Hope this helps.
