The battery is defective. I could not find a replacement battery online. The player is less expensive than the cost to repair unless it is covered under warranty. IN future, donot allow the battery to fully discharge. It will shorten its life or end it completely!

There are 3 solutions to your problem. 1) You need to replace your phone's battery, or 2) You need to replace your charger. (If you have a car charger, try it to determine if your home charger is the problem) or 3) you need to have the charging plug on your phone repaired; it will need to be sent in for service.
1st check that the charger is plugged and energized. It should light up when dropping a hanset into the craddle.
2nd Check that the batteries are connected properly inside the handset and that they have the full voltage. Try 1st step again
Download the driver from the lexmark website. You should turn off the printer and the computer. Unplug the printer. Turn on the computer. Bring it all the way up. Turn off the computer. Plug in the Lexmark. Turn on both machines. Install the printer driver.
