Red light flashing does not turn to green on dolce gusto piccolo

Same thing just happened to my Dolce Gusto Piccolo. It was off for 2-3 weeks, and after turning on, the light just kept blinking red forever. I tried pulling out water reservoir and putting it back repeatedly for a few dozen times (saw somewhere that air should be pumped out of the system), but It didn't help. Then I plugged out the power cord from the wall socket (while the machine was on), and plugged it back after a few seconds. Turned the Piccolo on, and it worked (blinked red shortly and turned green). Maybe it has something to do with induced current. And maybe pulling the water reservoir actually helped :)

I have a SONY KF-WE50 rear projection tv, a few weeks ago it started to turn the pic and sound off while the green light was flashing around 30 times. After the light finished flashing both the picture and...

the green is the reboot process and is normal.
the red light is an error code indicator.
count the blinks of the red light...it cant be 30 times (I think)
it will blink a sequence, pause, then do it again for a total of three times.
count carefully, it gives you three chances to catch the number it is blinking.

The red light is blinking and it doesn't print.

There are actually some certain meaning on the red light and green light showing different information to user. The summaries are:
1) Green On, Red Off = Printer Ready.
2) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Fast-Flashing = Printer warm up.
3) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Off = Printer off-line.
4) Green Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Processing Data.
5) Green Off, Red On = Cover Opened, Toner Empty or Developer Unit / Drum unit missing.
6) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.
7) Green Off, Red Slow-Flashing = Paper Empty or Paper tray is not inserted.
8) Green Off, Red Off = Printer power is off.
9) Green Very-Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Printer in sleep mode.
10) Green (any condition above), Red Slow-Flashing = Toner low or paper empty.

So what is your printer condition? Better know what is going on your printer so can solve the problem.

The Power Light is Red

yeah, should stay red when unit is turned off, indicating there's power but it's doing nothing.

Per user manual:
Solid red - power off (standby mode)
blinking red - power off (now cooling)
blinking green - power on (preparing to light lamp)
solid green - power on

Red Light Flashing 6 times

When the lamp fails in this unit, often the thermal fuse opens. The error code is 6 blinks. To replace this part requires a great deal of deal of disassembly.

Power on

Depends on how many times it flashes RED.
On the units with fans (usually the HD models) a 6 blink flash code indicates improper fan rotation and the unit will shut down.

These blinks are counted as they go DARK, not as they light up.

Remove the rear panel but do not clean out the dust from the fans until you see which has the improper rotation.

Cleaning may help once you find the baddie, if not they will need to be replaced.

Will not start up??

Same problem here. Opened it but everythng seemed intact. Red light flashes momentarily during initial plug in. Has power, oscillates but no fan rotation.
